King Donuts

I really wanted to like the donuts here, so I came back several times over the past few months, but with about the same results. Not a large selection- at all, and the ones they had were….dry. Not stale- just “dry”. Grocery store bakery donuts have actually been better. On a positive note, the staff was always very friendly. I may give them another chance in the future, but it will be a while.

Don't bother visiting this establishment. If you want any kind of quality donut, you're better off visiting the grocery store or even the gas station across the street. Don't be fooled into believing these donuts are any better than Hostess donuts you can get at the store. Went there to get a donut while we waited for our table at Word of Mouth across the street (great restaurant, highly recommended) and they were closed. Parking signs don't indicate that it's King Donuts patrons only but the owner, while closed on a Sunday, called to have our car towed...in an empty parking lot. All other lots in the vicinity indicated what authorized vehicles were allowed. $391 later we found out that the owner of Kings Donuts called to have our car towed from their empty lot even though they weren't even open on Sunday. Don't bother with this place.

Delicious!!!! I saw the reviews and saw that I had to be there early. Sunday I was there at 8 and wow what an experience. Apple fritter, chocolate donut and cinnamon crumble for the family with a coffee. Paid 14.00 for 1 apple fritter, and 4 six donuts plus coffee. Every bite was heaven. We tried our luck today and leaving Salem at 10 to see if they still had donuts and no, they were sold out. So glad for the experience on Sunday. Recommend getting up early and grabbing this for an early breakfast to anyone.
