Philly Steak And Sub

I went to Philly Steak and Sub for lunch. This is a nice little stop with a homestyle feel. It's like it's stuck in time. I ordered a Philly Cheese steak with onions and peppers. It was pretty good! Very juicy steak with soft bread. The large onion ring order was enough for 3-4 people. Very nice and plentiful portions for the pricing. They have a pretty big menu outside the regular Philly sandwiches, lots of things to try! They only accept cash, have unique hours with no weekends so be aware.

This place never disappoints. Yes, it's a small spot, old schooled, but that's what makes it unique. They make the best Philly Cheese Steaks and fries! The owner is so attentive and makes sure everyone is happy with their order. In addition, it's always cleaned. Keep in mind, that it's opened mostly during lunch hours on the weekdays and only accepts cash. Worth to try!

Stopped in today (14 Jan) to get a bite with my wife. Looked like a fun local place which I like to support. The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were clean. It was lunch time and they were very busy but mostly with takeout orders. We were dining inside and only about 1/2 of tables were occupied. The kitchen which you can see was very busy? We ordered on Philly Cheese Sub to split. NO bread! Drinks are self serve- we were in NO hurry as we were actually killing time on the way to the Orlando Airport. After 40 Minutes and the dining room down to us and one other table, I asked the very nasty lady behind the counter if there was a problem with our order. The small lecture on "patience is a virtue" was a bit nasty and seriously out of place. I had no more dealings with her and my wife handled the rest of the things in the Cafe! We finally got our small cardboard plate of Lettuce, Tomato, and a bit of Meat and Cheese- OK with us as we were trying to eat lightly. We split the plate with our plastic utensils and my wife paid the $15 bill- Seriously! My wife had asked "misses rude" if there was a military discount- NO! The inside of the restaurant was covered with Emblems of the different services? We managed to kill the extra time we had and eat healthy- Mission Accomplished! Obviously won't be going back! I have left more than a few comments on places I have been and my normal policy is if I don't have something nice to say then I just don't go back- This is the exception! Don't remember such a nasty person on a staff anywhere! BTW, The unsweet iced Tea was very good! Looks like your local crowd will hold you up? Might not want to franchise-

Only reason I’m not giving you 5 stars is because y’all are almost never open it feels like. Especially for everyone that works a regular 9-5 it’s So hard to get to yall. I wish yall would bring back The good hours when y’all were open till 8 I can’t even imagine the amount of money your missing closing so early

Very tasty cheesesteak. Only minus they only take cash. Also. I have been ordering from them for 10 plus years . Use to order from them at their older location. Only complaint i have is the amount of meat they put in a sandwich was a lot more before. I rmemeber when they packed the sandwich. Last few times it was like half the size it use to be at the same price. I would pay more for a cheesesteak like they use to make.

I gave you one star because I couldnt give you no stars. I placed an order over the phone for a Philly steak and i walked in to pick up my sandwich, the lady at the register said that I will be right with you I said okay and I stood in the same spot waiting for her to come back, When she did come back to the counter she ask’s a lady standing behind me how can i help you? I look around shocked because she completely skipped me. Another gentleman walks behind the lady and then pays for his food. I’m still standing in the same place waiting for service she then ask another gentleman behind me if he needed some help, The gentleman said to her he was here before us and the people you cashed out ! she finally asked me how can i help you i said i placed and order over the phone and I’m here to pick it up and said if it was ready i would of called your name! I said ma’am it’s my first time being in this establishment I’m not sure how you operate I’ve been standing here patiently waiting for you to acknowledge me and you have helped everyone but me! She was nasty and rude then whispered something in the person wrapping the orders ear and suddenly my food was up next and burnt! It was the worse lunch experience ever!
