Meat N Fire

We had a nice family dinner. Chicken was super flavorful. Decided to be adventurous and ordered okra although it was nicely breaded and fried, I still don't like it. We also ordered a regular and a bison burger, both were good. We weren't fans of the potato salad but we're happy there was variety on the sides. The bbq sauces are good too . I liked this location, it's family friendly just please don't feed the ducks.

Came highly recommended by a friend. Definitely great on all accounts price, portions, food quality and taste were all exceptional. The staff was very polite and friendly, the one gentleman even stopped by the table to see how we were doing. He asked my daughters how they liked the ribs and my littlest said tough, he offered to get her something different or even give her new ones. We politely declined, but amazing service!

We’ve been ordering take out for a while here. They never disappoint us with their tasty ribs, brisket, pulled chicken, and all of their delicious sides. Today, we decided to dine in for dinner. Their service was fantastic and their Chicken Philly was so good! If you are looking for good BBQ, this is the place for you.

A day late, but this restaurant deserves to have my undivided attention for its review. My brother and sister in law casually mentioned this place and said it was good. Man, what an understatement. The place smelled incredible when we walked in. When we made our way up to the counter, I mentioned that it was my first time there and the young woman taking our order gave me the best breakdown of the menu, explained everything, and answered my all my BBQ questions. The gentleman next to her (I'm thinking he was the owner), gave me samples of their different types of brisket that just melted in my mouth. Hands down, the absolute best BBQ Brisket I have ever had in my life. The level of customer service is only matched by the quality of the food. I ordered the country cowboy or the cracker cowboy.... It was a huge mess of brisket on garlic bread ($1 upcharge) topped with jalapeños, onions, and cheese. No sauce needed, but if you want some, I recommend their hot BBQ for just enough kick and incredible flavor.. We also ordered a few sides to try out. We had the collard greens which are made in-house, not in-can, then fried okra which was delicious, and my favorite side, was the sweet potato soufflé. Our total bill came to about $20 total for my sandwich, all the sides listed, my wife's chopped pork sandwich, one soft drink, and a water. You won't find better BBQ period. Let alone for this price. We are commuting back and forth to Kissimmee every day this weekend for country thunder, but I would take the 20 minute detour anyday. We will be back there today to try something new! I wish they had a food truck out at country thunder.... they would make enough money to open a new store closer to my house! Haha a guy can dream. I'll review the next meal this afternoon! Wanted to share our recent experience with Meat N' Fire. I wanted to preface by saying we have used Meat N' Fire for many years - both with personal and business catered events. Generally we have a good experience. Our experience today, however, was much, much different. We ordered Meat N' Fire for a family event. We ordered the usual favorites - few meat selections, few sides, and a few items from their nibblers section. So far, so good... When our order arrived, we quickly noticed that instead of the large size sides we ordered, we received the smallest portion (all of the sides combined were enough for 1 person). No biggie - things happen. I did want to call to make them aware, because it was a huge setback with our function (no bread either...more on that later). Just meat - leaving no sides for 85% of our group. The sides shown in the photo is what we were charged 17.00 for. As you can see, nowhere near 17.00 of sides. Not even enough for the kids to split. I called to inform them of the mistake on our order. The young lady that answered the phone was very courteous and professional. I asked her if I could speak with the manager and she politelty accommodated. I gave a rundown of the issue to the manager/owner. Now, I'm not one to over exaggerate issues. He too was polite, but he basically said it wasn't his issue. I asked him to please ring up our order again with what was delivered to see that this would in no way match what we received (it would have if the sides were correct; we paid extra to upgrade the sides to group portions). The manager said I could either contact Uber or call back on Monday. Unfortunately, calling back Monday doesn't solve Saturday's problem. He didn't offer to correct the order or refund the items - not once. My issue with the manager's response is that Meat N' Fire partners with Uber to complete their delivery orders. Ultimately, Meat N' Fire is the primary merchant and responsible for any issues with delivery orders. Any issues with items received (or not received) should be resolved between the Meat N' Fire and Uber - in my opinion, its not appropriate or reasonable to make the customer run around in circles to solve internal issues within their joint ordering system. *** Important to note - The service from Uber delivery driver was excellent. Quick and professional *** Also on our order, we also asked for sandwich buns in the comments because buns weren't listed anywhere on the menu. The buns were not included in our order - we were told because you have to pay for them separately - again, the sky wasn't falling, but a call to let us know that would have been appreciated and given us the chance to add the extra payment to have buns for the sandwiches. We ended up having to run to the grocery store after the order arrived, then reheating all of the food. So - No bread. No sides. Just meat. Not the family luncheon we had planned by any means. Most disappointed by the response from the manager. Not a good customer oriented response at all. For this reason, we will not be using Meat N' Fire anymore for any of our personal or business catering events. In fairness, if you are reading this review in order to find a good BBQ place - the food is very well made. On taste, I would still very much recommend it. On the customer service component, I would give it a high level of caution - especially if you are catering an event and can't risk having service issues without accountability. Throughout the course of my conversation with the manager, there was no attempt on his part to make it right.
