Sushi Roll

Very interested in posting a review, restaurant was really posh and authentic. We were a bit hesitant on what to order, staff were friendly, they recommenced us to order their signature dishes: 1. Spaghetti Pescatore (Signature Dish) with Mussel, Calamari, Prawns & Octopus Tomato Sauce, Garlic & Chilli ($30) - 2/5 This item was just okay, portion was average, taste was average, overpriced for the dish. 2. Sizzling stuffed calamari with Barramundi, prawns, bread crumbs, onion, basil, tomato and rocket ($28) - 1/5. I would probably want to rate this not even 1. Although the staff recommended this as dinner, the portion was smaller than that of a starter. Dish was extremely bland in taste, with no flavour at all. It really felt like some random mashed fish which I’d not even eat if it was free, let go of $28. So overall bad portion, aweful taste and extremely pricey for the dishes. I understand tastebuds could be different so maybe I personally didnt like the food but the portion was highly disappointing too. We did let them know that we found the portion was extremely small for dinner, especially the calamari so they should not have recommended it for dinner when we asked. If i were them, I would try to compensate my customers for the poor recommendation. I hope they improve the quality of their food in the future.

Overall below average experience. We were rushed to order our mains and finish them. When we were halfway through our mains and the last guests inside they started closing the venue. Turned off all the outdoor heaters on 12 degree night and reminded us twice that they were closing in the next 30 minutes, obviously because they just wanted to go home. We were more than happy to stay and order dessertS and potentially another drink to support local businesses during the pandemic that is covid-19, but we couldn’t have felt less hospitable. On a positive note, the wine was good and our first Italian waiter (curly brown hair) was entertaining.

I don’t like too much the local aspect, but my pizza was amazing! I’ve eaten calzone, the taste was a bit strong for me, considering there is scamorza cheese inside, but it was delicious! They served it with tomato sauce in a bowl apart and I really like this thing, instead of putting a little bit of sauce on the top, like others usually do. The service was also professional. I’ll go back again for sure.

Very tasty Italian food. Loved the prosciutto with rock melon and buffalo cheese served on rockets. Also had the freshly made salad with delicious caramelised walnuts served with parmesan cheese. The pippies and chilli spaghetti had just the right amount of flavour to still taste the fresh pippies. Very happy with the food.

A very disappointing experience. I have dined in this place several times before. At that time was good in general. Today I bring my husband with 2kids to try it again and it was disappointed. Ordered 2 pizzas. They were both very soggy in the middle. And the pork one even have lots of burnt spot underneath. From the photo you can see I tried to peeled off some. But still Very bunt smell and tastes awful! For desert, we ordered plum tart. On the menus it says included hazelnut gelato, when we get served there is only some whipped cream but NON gelato. I raised my hands for a while to get the waitress attention that the gelato was missing. She apologised and gave me a small scoop of gelato in a cup. They have surcharge on Sun and P/H, but today during lunch time I can see only 2 waitress available! If you surcharge on the bill PLZ “surcharge” on your service as well! Will not go back to this one again!
