Generous portions. Inexpensive. Enjoyed the House Special with red sauce, comes with a cheese enchilada, cheese Chile relleno, and a chimichanga. 4/5 spicines. Tasty

We moved to Alamogordo on 6/21 from the Midwest and being in New Mexico we figured the Mexican food should be good....Too our surprise it has not...Until we walked into Comal Mexican Restaurant. The food was Great, Fresh and with Flavor!!!..Norma and Sergio the owners were very nice and we let them know about our failed Mexican Adventures. When in Rudiso that will be the only place we will eat. Thanks for the Great food Finally!!!

We were a party of 6 adults and 2 small children. Visited on 12/19/21. The restaurant had just opened and no customers had yet arrived. They would not seat us because we were over 6 people. The waitress wanted to seat us but the grungy cook said no. Im assuming he was the owner because the waitress kept looking at him to see what he would say. I asked if they could seat us 4 and 4 per table and again the cook said no. The waitress shrugged her shoulders knowing she couldn't do anything about it so we left. At a time when businesses are struggling and don't want to go under I would think they would want every single customer they can get. I guess the owner thinks he is doing enough business that he can refuse anyone. Don't worry Mr. owner, we won't patronize your business anymore. You left a very poor impression of your business. As tourists in Ruidoso, you also gave us a bad impression of the town you live in and represent. Hope you're happy with your conduct and behavior.

Comal is always our first stop when we visit Ruidoso. It is a small family owned Mexican food restaurant. We love the chili relleno plate. I forgot to take a picture this time so I am including a picture from our last visit.
