A Slice Of Pie

Delicious! And in Rolla?! I found this place because FEAST/SAUCE magazine recommended it, and wow did they live up to the expectations. The crusts are so flaky and the fillings are so rich and full of flavor. Lots of options, decent prices and easy location access. I only tried a couple slices, but we'll be back for sure!

I’m an apple pie fanatic, so my choice of American apple pie was easy. But they have sooo many other options as well. The crust was superb, and the apples were sweet and well-flavored. Plus, the servings are huge! I got a half-slice (see picture), so I have no idea how big the whole slice is. Either way, very worth it!

They continue to be the BEST PIE in Missouri!! We stop by (go out of our way) every chance we get to pick up one of their culinary delights! ALL of it is excellent; love the coconut cream, and the cherry/raspberry. Apple is always great, too. We are so happy they continue a long-time tradition of excellent, fresh, homemade pie!!!!

A Slice of Pie is the best restaurant in Rolla. I moved away 10 years ago, but every time I come back, I have to have it. This was my first visit to the new location. While it’s not the same, it’s a much needed change. It’s no longer a hole in the wall attached to a laundromat – it’s now very visible off a main stretch of road. The space inside is massive in comparison to before – plenty of space for all. They have “half slices” (which are bigger than a half slice) and “whole slices” for $1 more, so always go for the whole slice even though it’s not technically double the pie. My favorite is the Toll House, a chocolate chip cookie pie piled high with homemade whipped cream. But really, you can’t go wrong.
