Bean

Well, after reading some negative posts regarding Bean there at Riverside, I feel compelled to write a review and I don't ever write reviews. I have been a Bean customer for a while now and I can say hand on heart that I personally have never had a bad or even minor bad experience there in all the time I have been going in. The staff there are tremendous!. All be it, at times, the place is extremely busy and yes they do have limited staff on occasions and I'm sure it can be challenging at these times for them. However, they are not robots and the staff there have great personalities. A good coffee takes time to brew and prepare, so if you want a quick coffee, buy a jar of Nescafé and put the kettle on!. Staff In the hospitality industry are there to serve us, but they are not our servants and that includes Bean.

I was very happy when I found out there’s finally a coffee shop in Rochdale that sells really tasty and great quality matcha lattes. I always pop in when I can to do some university work as the atmosphere is great, the staff are super lovely and accommodating, and even the other customers are nice. The variety of cakes and sandwiches they have are very nice too.

A really great place to sit down, relax and have a warm cup to beat the chill. Staff are very polite and service is very fast. You can sit down and drinks will be bought to your table. Not a huge selection of cakes but what you get is tasty and quality which makes up for this. Good setting and also has a balcony where you can sit outside.
