Ihop

IHOP has a lot of potential. There are not that many well known breakfast places to compete with the brand. HOWEVER, they really need to up their standards. The customer service is poor. The waiters feel like they are rushing you. They also didn’t bother to wipe a dish with pancake batter on the edge and make it clean before serving it. Presentation represents a lot about your brand and the presentation of most IHOP’s in Roanoke is poor. It is not cleanly or appealing. I love this restaurant and believe its quality can skyrocket by better customer service and better presentation.

Overall service was great our waitress was phenomenal! But it the manager or supervisor made the experience kind of disappointing. We walked through the door and she was shuffling through menus to hand to the seating host and she commented that she was “so over these r*tarded menus” super offensive. Very inappropriate considering it was super packed for Mother’s Day and there were kids everywhere that could have heard. I am thankful that she said it in front of us and not someone who happened to be mentally handicapped that would have been absolutely awful and degrading. Choose a better word to describe your frustrations man cause that was super inappropriate.
