Pizza Time

Owner is a hostile control freak and a scammer. He refused to sell me a 2L soda because I had planned to dine in. Then he made my pizza without one of the toppings I paid for in retaliation to me declining to purchase a can of soda. Save yourself the trouble, if you want good food or good service look elsewhere. I recommend NY Pizza on Van Buren, or Dave's on University. Hell, even Pizza Hut will treat you better.

I had bought pizza to go several times, but wanted to dine in for my son’s birthday. When I walked in I asked if dine in was open and was told yes. So, I ordered pizza and asked about drinks. I was told no soda fountain only cans. I asked about the two liters and was told that was only for to go orders, as they had no cups. How can you say you can dine in, but have no cups? My son said, he would go next door and buy a two liter then. The owner rudely said you cannot bring that in! It was also unbearably hot in the restaurant. It’s clear the owner does not want diners in. He is cheap, and rude. We took our pizza to go, and I will never order from there again. Ruined my son’s birthday!

I tried placing an order for pizza 5/13 at 8:26pm. The guy I was talking to asked for my phone number I gave it to him I am visiting from Colorado. He went on to say if I knew the name of the place I was ordering from I answered yes. He continued to say that I would need to pay with a card over the phone. I said yes. He hung up, I called again He then asked again to tell him where im calling and then said people call and dont pick up their pizza. I needed to tell him my zip code here in Riverside, CA. I AM TRYING TO ORDER TAKE OUT. WHY ARE ALL THESE QUESTIONS COMING UP? I used maps to find a pizza place near me. They are 7 minutes away. I asked the guy why this process sounds complicated. He said he is not going to serve me and I should find another place to eat and hung up on me. WOW!!! What an unfortunate experience. Worst feeling especially when you are visiting from out of town just trying to feed the family for the night. I wanted a simple pepperoni pizza.

First time trying The Pizza Place last night and we were very satisfied. Ordered a pizza, guy said 25min, got there 25min later and it was ready. Pizza was good, not to thick, not to thin. Toppings were good, not to much, not to little. Young guy at the counter was friendly with good people skills. I'd give them 4 3/4 stars. Only one thing. If our pizza would have been in the oven for a min or two longer it would've been perfect. This will be our go to place for pizza pick-up from now on. Great Job!!!
