Craving Thai

The best thai food in Riverside ,Southern California. The people's that's work here are the greatest in everything, that was a week ago I went today there was a different person actually actually a lady and from appearance look Back She was hungry for the money he actually try to be more for something that I ordered week ago I tried to explain her that I pay this and we can go with somebody else after the name was DJ because of the nice experience I had last week I took my family the worst mistake that I did I will never go back to this place the food didn't taste the same and we were over charge and top Of that she added the tip without us letting us know kind of stiff $13 in tips this is add rage shorten a trip with us as not knowing be careful guys the food is not that great if you make under the same experience or worse.

I've eaten here often since I first stopped in to give it a try in January, 2013. I really like all three red, green and yellow curry and rice, spicy green bean and cashew chicken. I've recommended Craving Thai to family and friends and it quickly becomes their favorite Thai restaurant. Fresh ingredients, clean and comfortable, friendly owner and service is great.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon with a friend and placed a to-go lunch order; no other customers except for one table with 3 people and they were waiting for food. Spent about $13 for one item with brown rice (included a side salad) and a large drink. We left for awhile to reconnect with friends at another restaurant in the row... came back and food still wasn't ready (the people waiting at the table STILL didn't have their food either). Luckily, I was given my large lychee tea shortly after I ordered; it was practically gone by the time we finally got our food. When we finally met up with friends again with our food, they were almost done and we had initially left them when they were about to join the line to order Poki. The guy at the register was extremely friendly and he genuinely seemed to hustle when the orders came out. He let me know that the lychee tea was pre-sweetened but they could make it "less sweet" - which was nice of him to offer. It was still really sweet but I still enjoyed it!! Side salad was... meh. Soggy salad with dressing... dressing wasn't bad though. We both had ordered cashew nut chicken... me level 3, friend level 5! Cashew chicken was yummy! Chicken was more brothy (less pasty/saucy) than I'm used to but I'd order it again. Level 3/medium heat was actually pretty spicy; I MIGHT try 4, but medium had just enough kick & flavor! Level 5 left my friend guzzling water & gasping for air and she's used to SPICY!! LOL

This place hands down has the best pad thai me and my girlfriend have ever tried. This is the only place in southern california we have found that has pad thai this delicious. We eat pad thai at every single thai restaurant we go to and can find periodically just to find one that beats this one. We have gone to many cities around california looking and have found none. We have even gone to australia and in sydney there was a small alleyway apparently very popular for thai food, so finding out, we were very excited. Also since there is the second largest population of thai people in any city around the world there and it is closer than to America we expected it to be better than this one. Even in Australia after trying pad thai at 3+ places including this "popular spot", we found a second place but nothing that beats this pad thai. If you come here you have to try it, this is the only place that I can say I enjoy their pad thai. Also I have eaten nothing other than the pad thai from this place it is the only thing I ever order here and the only thing I come for, also if they ask how spicy, take it seriously, spicy is legitimately to die for(very hot) and I eat alot of spicy food and chili with everything so be warned.
