I stayed at the Hyatt visiting the Long Island Aquarium and found a must try place Shadees, Super Delicious I had the jerk chicken next time I'll try the drinks when i order the oxtail, curry goat,and empanadas.

Absolutely fantastic all around. The food is flavorful, tasty, delicious. The owner is so kind. I’ve had many different meals here, all have been stellar. This restaurant alone makes me enjoy Riverhead that much more.

I should have written a review long ago, but best service and best Jamaican spot from Nassau to Montauk. While I worked in the area for 5 years I would frequent this location during lunch break as my cheat meal cause I cook from home most days.
Mrs. D and Family were always nice always welcoming. I introduced Mrs. D to my mom one day when I took my mother shopping at the outlet. Love the food and love the energy, I regret that I have moved out of state and this location will be missed.
P.S. to the people who said the food does not have flavor and spice........ that have never been my experience. also There have been days when I would walk in to pick up food for my family and just because they knew they would be closing and did not want left over the next day; she would give a few extra patties and meats which I really did appreciate. miss new york so much wishing this restaurant the best and so many blessings!

Fantastic food and service! The jerk chicken was fall off the bone tender and delicious. Perfectly cooked rice and peas and plantain. The owner was kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back for more!

After eating one spoonful I asked myself why I didn’t get two orders of their Mac n Cheese. Just … yes. They were a godsend with the Jamaican attitude to match (haha). Highly recommend. Happy Eating!
