Subway

Stopped by a few weeks ago with 2 friends, there were 2 people in line ahead of me, the process was slow and inefficient, took about 10 minutes before the manager lady took my order. She was rude and cut me off while I was ordering, didn't ask me if I wanted my sandwich toasted and threw it in the oven, finished and paid for the sandwich and waited another 10 minutes for my 2 friends behind me. One of the guys making my friend's sandwich lost his temper when trying to put his sandwich in the bag, crammed the sandwich in the bag and blew half of the toppings out of the bottom of the paper wrapping into the plastic bag. Said to my friend "sorry, I got a little frustrated." When my friend opened the bag the sandwich was smashed and half of his toppings were in the bottom of the bag. As we were walking out the door, manager lady shouted at us across the restaurant that she was trying to get things done before she went to her second job, she then proceeded to gripe about the young men that worked with her, complained that they were bad at their job, and that they didn't know how to bake bread. Everyone in the restaurant heard her berate her coworkers.

Horrible management for new employees... Not sure of the managers name, but who I assume was 2 new employees, got treated like garbage right in front of me. The 2 young men did just fine with my sub. But everything they did right, seemed wrong for the manager. She was plain rude to them. It's no wonder nobody wants to work anymore if they are getting treated like that right in front of customers... Sub was great though!

I have not been to Subway in Ripon for years. I ordered the foot long steak and cheese and was surprised as I watched it be assembled. I received two "scoops" of what appeared to be processed meat that looked nothing like any advertisement for the sub. Even toasted, the processed taste was evident. Add tomatoes that were not ripe and this was not a great sub. At least the bread was fresh. The worst part was the sub was just under $11.00. I'll stick with subs using sliced deli type meat from now on when I go to Subway.
