Huddle House

We ordered Mr. Beast burgers. 2 Jimmy 1 Chris 1 Carl (grilled cheese). Nothing is right. We all got plain double cheeseburgers and an unmelted grilled cheese. I called several times and no answers. Huddle house do better. $68 for cold food and not even the right order!! There was detailed receipt stapled to the bag also.

Brandi was an outstanding waitress. She was the only waitress. They had to close down about half of the facility for inside dining because of staff shortage. At 3pm they closed inside dining. They still had pick up from what I understood. It was going to open back up for inside dining at 4pm. I think so they could clean for next shift. I over heard a lady at another table compliment the cook and waitress. There were several tables open plus a lot of pick up. My chicken fried steak was perfect and they had fresh salad. Brandi kept everyone drink filled, tables clean and between her and the cook had your meal out while it was still hot. I definitely going back.

I ordered our dinner and my husband picked it up. He said it was pretty clean and quiet in there. The total was pretty expensive but everything is getting like that now. Our food was made on time and we all enjoyed it. My husband raved over his triple burger. My burger was pretty good, too. My fries had cheddar cheese on it but I couldn't taste the cheese. My daughter loved her pancakes and bacon.

We get there around 3-3:15 pm on a Sunday and we were the only customers so we figured it would be quick. No greeting when we walked in. Everyone kind of standing around. At least what I counted was 7 employees. We found our seats and noticed an employee cleaning in the other side of the store. Sweeping and moping. Ok so we sit on the far opposite side of where he is cleaning. We sit down waiting on menus which we got after anout 2 minutes. We order after waiting a while. Before we get our food the employee who was cleaning is pretty much cleaning over and around us. Almost hits my husband while moving tables to mop. Mop bucket sitting right by our table. I love the smell of cleaning products but not while I'm eating. No wet floor sign. My husband got his food first and i waited. Oh and there was a hair in my food but i was scared to report it. I work in a restaurant so I know how employees get sometime when you report directly to them. Everyone is stressed and I'm a libra that doesn't like confrontation. I was shocked and left unsatisfied because this location is usually awesome. We come to this one other than the one right down the street from us because it's usually great. Everyone has off days. I will go back but it may be a while. Hostess was great. Experience it for yourself though. This was in Rincon, GA.

I had the huddle house bowl without gravy and it was so very good! The potatoes were nice and crisp, the eggs were just right, and the bacon was the way I like it. Tracy is always a joy to have serve us. She is overworked but she stays pleasant. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is understaffed and the tables are left with dishes.
