😱Lizzie’s first impression: first try here, no line and simple ordering. <br/><br/>🍩Lizzie enjoyed: I did quite enjoy the green tea with lychee that I had. It was refreshing and wasn’t too sweet. <br/><br/>🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough tea flavour that I enjoy in other fruit tea drinks. <br/><br/>🥇Lizzie rates overall: a great place to quench your thirst if you’re close by. <br/>

Mr. Panda opened in April 2019 and is the first store in Melbourne was chosen in Richmond. The tea from Mr. Panda originates from China. <br/><br/>I found the drink tasted a bit strange, I could only consume 50% of it and had to throw out the remainder. Such a disappointment.<br/><br/>🔆LOCATION🔆<br/><br/>Mr. Panda is conveniently located on Victoria Street right at the corner of Lennox Street next to Commonwealth Bank.  <br/><br/>🔆SERVICE🔆<br/><br/>I was at Mr Panda around 12.30pm on a Thursday but it was really quiet. I was the only one there.  The female waitress was very friendly and <br/><br/>🔆MENU/PRICE🔆<br/><br/>They have good range of drinks on their menu including milk tea, flavoured milk tea, premium fruit tea, ice frappe, light cheese cream, fresh brewed tea and fresh milk series. <br/>Nothing really stood out for me, but I noticed a small easel black board with weekly specials, large drink for $4.99. So I decided to order: <br/><br/>Large Mango Milk Tea, $4.99<br/>Extra topping, 0.50 cents - I decided on aloe vera topping with my drink.<br/><br/>🔆VERDICT🔆<br/>Great value for a large drink. <br/>I could taste the strong green tea in the drink however because it was so strong I it overpowered the mango flavour. It was more like flavoured Milk Green Tea. There was also a strange foam cheese taste in the milk tea.<br/><br/>The amount of aloe vera in the drink was soo generous, it was 1/3 of the large cup. The size of the aloe vera was very large and most of time unable to drink through the straw, but having said that the aloe vera had a really strange taste. It was very crunchy and was something off about it. I had to rip the top plastic cover off the cup to even drink the milk tea and avoid the disgusting aloe vera.<br/><br/> Overall the drink was really below average and I could only have half of the drink excluding the aloe vera before throwing it out.<br/><br/>The shop itself is decorated very nicely and good size.

With its cute panda artworks on the wall, I was already in a good mood before I got my drink. My friend and I tried the Trio Milk Tea and hot Coconut Milk Tea and were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked it. The pronounced robust flavour of the black tea in the former, and the floral note of green tea in the latter made for a very enjoyable beverage. The pudding and grass jelly I really liked, especially the silky smooth pudding. The pearls were a tad too chewy but passable nonetheless. Friendly service, and there's HK egg waffles - my favourite snack! Definitely will have to make a return visit when I'm in the area.

A new bubble tea place in North Richmond. Even though I am not a fan of bubble teas in general as they usually contain so much sugar, I quite liked this place and their bubble tea. It came with generous amounts of the ingredients and was also the least sweet bubble tea I have ever tasted. I also liked their prompt service and nice interior decor of the shop.

Another one of these juice and drink bars that are popping up around inner Melbourne and popular with Asian people. I know why. There is a great range of refreshments that are prepare right in front of you. You can choose how sweet or creamy or juicy you want your drink and it’s made to order. There are three sizes and I’d recommend the large ($6).Shop is trendy and modern. You can drink in the store or takeaway. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly.

Cute new little milk tea shop. Super friendly and helpful staff. Since it's newly open, they're doing buy 1 get 1 free on the weekends in May. I tried their trio milk tea and cream cheese milk tea with 50% sugar. I was pleasantly surprised and how creamy and milky their milk tea was. The cream cheese was tasty. I was however quite surprised that 50% sugar here tasted like 30%. I'll know next time. Definitely will try this place again when I'm in the area.

I feel like the very first review is either someone who is just a hater, or a competitor within the area. The grand opening was 12/4/19 and the store is as clean as new, which it is lol. Some people can be so petty to ruin another person's career. This store is located within walking distance to the famous Vietnamese restaurant Thanh Ha 2. As shown in the picture, there's a promotion on until Sunday, buy one get one free ! My partner and I came here after our dinner at Thanh Ha 2 to give it a try - only $7.10 (as per promotion). What we really like about this place was that the drink was not too sweet, although we got less sugar. But the main thing is, it didn't taste like diluted water! It actually tastes like milk tea. The only flaw if I'm honest is the pearls could've been better. It was too soft or was not very chewy. Part of the grand experience in getting bubble tea is the texture of the pearls ! I wouldn't go out of my way to go and have a drink here, but if I'm in the area; would definitely visit again. My partner and I spoke inside seated fine, not too sure what the review before me is talking about. Her account has 3 reviews and all she does is complain.

Service was good but the tea has a weird aftertaste. The pearl was also too soft without the chewy-ness. The good thing was as it’s a new store, got 20% off and they open late hours. Willing to give them another chance as I know sometimes new stores can mean I experience and still need to sort out a few things.

I had a Barley Taro bubble tea from here. The service was alright. <br/><br/>The place has some fun pictures and the layout is good but the place needs a clean. <br/><br/>My bubble tea was ok, the pearls were alright, but overall the flavour was a bit unusual for me. <br/><br/>The drink was sweet and not my personal favourite.

**4.5 stars** This is the latest bubble milk tea store to pop up on Richmond’s Victoria Street. I find this is by far, the best place yet because the environment is clean and welcoming. Staff are friendly and most importantly, there are seats! From the other stores I’ve frequented, the drinks are for takeaways only and staff don’t seem friendly. <br/><br/>The drinks here are also tasty - standard quality but just missing the latest trend of brown sugar milk tea options. The prices are cheaper here too, compared to other franchises anyway.<br/><br/>Still, this place does have my vote and I’ll continue to buy my drinks here whenever I’m in the area.
