Kritamos

We had dinner at Kritamos last night and I can still taste the chargrilled calamari. It was, without a doubt, the best calamari I have ever had. We followed the chargrilled calamari with a meat platter for two, which was also brilliant. The ladies working the house were very friendly and were more than happy to substitute the tzaziki for scordalia because of a yoghurt intolerance. We're so happy that we found Kritamos, because we'll definitely be back.

Have a group of 10 there tonight, the food was very ordinary, Aggy the owner keep pushing us for a banquet which charge $50.00 per person.. We thought is fair enough.. However, we end up pay much more extra of over price of side dishes that brought out to our table.. Beware of this restaurant , waiter very good of service but they will charge you excessive prices for everything. Not happy and will not return or recommend to anyone. Feeling ripoff . No wonder the restaurant so quiet.

Recently had a 50th there and it was a nice place, great wait staff but there was not enough food for everyone. The white bait fish had a few calamari rings in there only and the meat platter was insufficient. There was only one skewer of chicken an some meat between six people. Upon asking we were told that they only gave two plates per table which had about 10 people. Wouldn't recommend it for a large function but maybe okay as a dinner out.

I cannot rave highly enough about this AMAZING restaurant. I dined here on Saturday with 5 girlfriends and we all were blown away! Agy is hands down the friendliest, funniest and best waitress/host I have met in a long long time. She knew perfectly when to interrupt us so that we would actually get a chance to order and when to leave us to chat, offered fantastic suggestions on food and wine and was always there for anything we needed. And the food..... The food was fantastic - best saganaki EVER!!!! Do yourself a favour guys and get down here before everyone discovers this place!
