I had the chopped pork and fish sandwich.They were good, but not $7 worth. little pricey for a sandwich. Cornbread was good.

This BBQ catering company provided food at our more casual event after our wedding and it was delicious! The variety and pricing was on point, the flavors were classic BBQ, but also unique, and the staff super friendly. Perfect for a hot summer day!

Ribs were the best thing we tried - tender, sauce was complementary without overshadowing the taste of the smoky pork. Barbeque itself was good, but didn't care for the sauce (on the side) - it was too sweet. The beans were also too sweet. Obviously that's personal preference, I would definitely suggest you check it out!

Even for delivery excellent fare. The ribs were meaty abd well seasoned. No need for extra sauce or the like. The bbq sandwich fabo. Classic bbq and coleslaw complemented each other. hush puppies very good, they keep to simple recipe and fried lightly.Brisket tender and we'll seasoned. Will visit again and recommend sharing so can try more things.

Stopped in before a VCU basketball game. We tried to get into Asado but they were packed out the door. This place was empty, I'm guessing because they don't serve alcohol. The food was very good. I tried a little bit of everything. The wings were my favorite. I thought the prices were a little high for the portions, and the atmosphere could have been better if we weren't the only ones in their eating and not being able to enjoy a cocktail or beer.

Deep Run Roadhouse staff is professional from start to finish! The food was amazing! I ordered pick-up catering for an bday event I had on last Saturday and it was totally worth it. To the service, the menu they provided, labels and all. Those little things stand out! We had around 26 people and they all loved the food! I will definitely use this place again for my next catering event. Thank You Deep Run Roadhouse, I appreciate it!!

As was offered to me from more than one passerby, "what is the best BBQ in Richmond?" The overwhelming response including asking the great google in the sky was, Deep Run Roadhouse. Well after a small wait (there was an efficiently moving line for the smoked meat delicacy), I made a take out order. There was two large portions af steaming loveliness that I and my date concluded were delightful. I will have to try everything on the menu each time I am in the area.

Staff was extremely friendly and took time to explain the menu. The food was delicious and we all enjoyed it. Entire bill for all the food in these pictures was just $33!

Pretty good stuff. Got the pork sandwich, collards and mac and cheese. Loved the collards, prok is prettygood. Love that you can get condiments on it like onions, pickles and jalapenos. Wish they had un sweet tea though. Bathrooms are small fyi.

Came here with the extended family. Had the brisket, cat fish, chopped pork, pulled chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese, potato salad and corn bread. Everything is gone. We loved it. Great place for a family. Thank you for the sample!

This place is amazing. We are from Texas and we can never find BBQ even close to what we had there, but Deep Run Roadhouse is just as good if not better than what we use to get in Texas. They have three different bbq sauces and all three are great. We drive 30+ minutes for this place and it is definitely worth the drive. Keep making amazing BBQ guys! We will be back!!

The menu is not large, but there are plenty of barbecue options, as well as some less common items. I had the brisket sandwich with onions and jalapenos and the house sauce. The meat was fall apart tender, and really good. I also got a piece of peanut butter pie which was good, but if I get out there again, I will go for the pecan. The service was friendly, and decor comfortable and inviting. Overall, it is exactly what I am looking for in a barbecue place.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and quick service. Just stopped in halfway through a 14 hour road trip, and so glad we did! Catfish was cooked perfectly, the pulled pork was incredible, and the sides were great, too.

I had ordered online for delivery from their VCU location, and my order was running late. I called Deep Run to find out what was going on with my order and it turned out that they had made it but somehow forgot to deliver it. The person on the phone was very apologetic and said that they would make me a fresh order, deliver it as fast as they could, and give me half my money back. When my delivery showed up, they gave me the older food along with the fresh food. I already knew their food was amazing since I've been there a few times, but I want to say that their service was really great in my delivery experience, and I really appreciate how they handled my order. Will definitely continue going here for as long as possible.

This was my first time here. I have passed it so many times when I go to Qdoba or Noodles & Company so I decided to stop in on my lunch. I ordered the 2 meat platter with fried catfish and brisket w/ potato wedges & cowboy beans and a drink. With my VCU discount (10%) it was about $17. Also do NOT park in the Bookholders parking lot as they will tow. The guy at the counter was kind enough to bring my food to the car.

Driving through from DC to Atlanta, we pulled off for some lunch and so glad we did!! Everything we got was seriously amazing. Each item was better than the last. Even the kids ate all of their food!! So of course, we gave them some amazing peanut butter pie. The chicken was moist, and didn't even need the sauce. But the sauce - Oh the sauce - 3 types to choose from. My favorite was the vinegar, husband liked the sweet. The mac and cheese was out of this world. Had a bit of a bite to it, and the kids loved it. The green beans were cooked perfectly, crisp, and lightly seasoned. They had greens without pork in them, and I didn't have to add anything to them, they were perfectly spicy. My husband had the tacos and said they were really good. The staff was so kind and friendly and really went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The decor was really cool too! These 2 Texans give Deep Run Roadhouse 2 Texas sized thumbs up!!!
