Hiro Sushi

Owner did not seat me for dine in. Prior to ordering my meal I told her I wanted to dine in and asked if I should order and sit anywhere or if I get seated. She said to order and sit which, to me, means it’s like a carry out type situation and not official dining. Anyway, I forgot to add a tip as I paid without any formal service and she proceeded to let me know that I was not allowed to dine in unless I provided a tip. If my job wasn’t paying I would have told her to make it all carry out. Sometimes I don’t understand how people think and what makes them believe they deserve something when nothing was provided. She received much less then I normally leave because not only had she not done anything yet but insisted a tip is required for a particular type of service which much be illegal.

This place is a hidden GEM!!!! The waitress (young girl maybe 21 years old) was phenomenal. I ordered the teriyaki ny strip meal with fried rice and a spicy salmon roll. The roll was very good! Super fresh and larger than normal rolls. The NY strip was the most tender piece of beef I have ever had at a Japanese restaurant. They slice it thin for you and it just melts in your mouth. I am here on business and I will always come back!
