Mucho Burrito

"Good, fast Mexican food..." Pros: Big portions, fast service, casual atmosphere, fresh ingredients, great location at the Renton Landing (perfect for after watching a movie at the theater). Cons: Price can add up with additional ingredients, flavor is fairly standard (nothing too exciting). Ken's take-away: Mucho Burrito is a good place for a quick bite for Mexican food and the burritos are big and filling. However, extra items can hike up the price. For example, ordered some nachos for my nephews (they didn't want a lot of veggies, only cheese and tomatoes). They drizzled only a little bit of nacho cheese and seeing that the nachos were pretty bare, I asked how much extra cheese was and it was for a few extra dollars. I declined as I thought it was pretty much penny-pinching and they saw that I was already paying full price for the nachos {it would have been great if they drizzled more nacho cheese in place of the veggies since the veggies was covered in the price to begin with). Case in point: if you want to add more ingredients to your main items, prepare to pay extra which, might be standard practice, but definitely not worth the expense in my opinion.

One star is way to much credit to this POS place. The staff is rude and don’t care what you ask for. Ordered Taco Trio for $7.95... they charged $8.45... when I questioned it they said it’s do to the Shrimp, but that was a part of the taco trio, only said 1.00 more for Guacamole. Then their little guy behind the counter wanted to act like a grown up. Wish his little person would have came across that counter... would have been very happy to treat him like one and beat his smart butt back! The food was refrigerated cold, which I have already notified the health department. Don’t eat here ever! If you are the owner, you need better staff.

Updated: after my last visit to this place, I went to Qdoba in Lynnwood and was so impressed by ALL I got for around $10 (including unlimited drink)! So I had to edit this review for Mucho Burrito because it's definitely NOT Mucho at all. My 1st visit (1.5 years ago) was great. Unfortunately, they've changed a lot and now give extremely skimpy amounts of everything! And they charge extra for everything! Unreal. The food is still fresh and good. It's just that you get a lot less of it for higher prices! The manager said it's because people come in and order the vegetarian meals and want all the extras for free, which makes the restaurant lose $$. Well, what if you don't eat meat? Should you be penalized? I got vegetarian nachos at Qdoba, tons of chips, queso, beans, guacamole, sour cream, pico, salsas...it was really too much! I didn't pay extra for anything! Mucho Burrito, either change your name or go back to providing excellent food without nickle and diming! Fresh! Good food. Fast. Got the shrimp on the salad, large, fresh, tasty. Shrimp is better than any build your own Mexican places! And the salsas were great, very tasty, great heat! $1.25 extra for chips. Salsa containers are very small and there's .50 extra for each container of salsa.

Nasty, chewy and the service is rude. No one literally in the store and was rushed through my order. The beef in our burritos were so chewy. Not edible. Tried calling to speak with a staff member but no one answered. Also over priced. $30 for 2 burritos. Not that money is an issue. But I'll pay that price for good food. Wont be back

Usually good service. In my opinion the rice could be better at times. There have been a couple times where I have ordered the biggest burrito but was served very small portions compared to other times/visits. The restaurant is usually clean. I wouldn't mind a more friendly welcoming environment - I say this because sometimes I'm not even greeted, it's just 'What do you want'. Just my opinion though.

The times I've gone here, have been good. Perfect? Sadly close to it, but not quite, why? The biggest reason probably because the music is kind of loud, have hard time hearing or speaking to the people working their for my order. My food, each time has been good and enjoyable. Unfortunately I don't have pictures, sorry, but overall they're burritos are good and there meals are enjoyable too, with quite a few choices that aren't burritos too.

It's definitely better than having no burrito bowl options, but I just wasn't a big fan of the flavors. I normally expect the option for a lot of kick and flavor with a burrito shop and this fell pretty flat for me. I still would have given this 4 stars due to the scarcity of good options, but Mucho Burrito just wasn't super clean in the dining room either. I'll go back and update soon.
