Long John Silvers

Over the years I continue to forget about this chain, the food if good I just never see advertising for it and they tend to be in less safe neighborhoods along with bad signage, well today was the day, it was wonderful, COD, Shrimp and Lobster as good as any high priced restaurant, I'll be back as they say...

The items lately are starting to taste really oily. I wasn't able to finish my order. I had to dump it out. It is very sad for me to say that it is not pleasant to dine here anymore. Please bring back the old times. You guys were one of the best fastfood seafood place that I used to go to. What happened!?

The shrimp I had before my last visit wasn't even tuff it was falling apart just touching it literally made me so sick I just threw it all out... Figured I ordered the wrong thing perhaps, So I gave it another go..... Got the fish and chips except traded the chips for hush puppies , The first fish I ate wasn't bad but the second fish I went to bite into it and it gushed out a bunch of slimely breading so I immediately called them and they sorted everything out. Full refund with the return of the uneaten food. needless to say I won't be returning anytime soon, the building needed some serious renovations and the interior was pluming out exhaustingly hot air. the air coming from inside was hotter than my car that was sitting in the sun whilst the thermostat reads 99 degree's.. the staff look super resilient but there's only a matter of time before this place need to be rebuilt sad to say but it's going under fast. Someone help these people before they die of heat exhaustion the one lady I talked to said to me it's just so hot in here... I was like it's so hot in there I can feel it in my car...

The service and food was excellent. My father wanted to go here for lunch and my husband was very adamant that we never eat there because his folks were always wanting to subject him to this fare. So much to his dismay my father requested this as his weekly treat. My husband was super satisfied with his cod and shrimp basket and I had the chicken which was also cooked to perfection. Thank you to the enthusiastic cashier whom suggested I put honey mustard on my hush puppy. It was an excellent suggestion and tasted quiet good.

Although the staff was kind, I was very disappointed once hearing items that were craved was no longer available for months - Cod Fish is what placed Long John's back on the map for me along with fresh Jalapeno Peppers! My order was disappointing as it reminded me why I stopped eating there years ago. Before this occurred at least I had the opportunity to eat some great food last year. I'll try back in a few years if managing to keep their doors open. You had a good thing for second of a wink Long John's
