Very friendly atmosphere,good quality food and excellent service from ordering to completion of meal.

As always for value for money the lunch at the Bell can't be bettered.First class service and lovely food beautifully presented.

Stopped as passing to try a lunch time menu.
Pretty good choice with set menu and very reasonably priced.
Excellent cask ales and nice selection of wines.
Staff are exceptional and extremely helpful.

Recently did family meal,quite busy, excellent cask ales 6x and HPA.
Good selection of starters,homemade soup very nice. All the food was well presented and all piping hot.
Gammon one of the best. unfortunately only one faggots left, have that next time.
Staff friendly always there when you needed anything.
Pays to book in advance as busy early evening.
Definitely returning.

Went for lunch, and we had meals from their "golden oldie" menu, which was very good value for money and in quality too , the drinks were as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Went "on spec" and although very busy managed to get one of the last tables which also "speaks volumes" about the place.

Lovely attentive staff, home cooked food on the table quickly at a very reasonable price. Accompanied by a well kept pint of HPA . Nice choice of food and so refreshing not being a part of a chain of restaurants. Sometimes you honest home cooked food and here you get it .

Booking was done over the phone and got a slot easily enough.
On arrival, we greeted to our table where we had a pint and then ordered our food

Second visit in few weeks. Good choice in lunch specials, I had steak & kidney pie with saute potatoes, peas & separate jug of gravy, very enjoyable! Stepdad had ham, egg & chips (ham very thick cut so he found it bit difficult to eat, but sure other diners wouldn't have had a problem). Followed by banana split (which he loved) & I enjoyed trifle which reminded me of Birds Instant packets (happy childhood memories!). Pleasant ambiance & staff. Very good value.
