Never thought we’d find the best Italian food in RR! This place did not disappoint. Owners are the best and the waitstaff is very knowledgeable. We can wait to return Tgiving week!

Food was good. Only 2 places open for evening meal. A little bland for Italian for my taste but good. Pizza was very good.

Young waitress and just could not get it together. Took 20 min. after we were seated to get drink orders, couldn't find or open a bottle of wine. Took our order for food. Someone else delivered after a long wait. Then waited for our checks for 20 min. Just to be given to us after done eating. Food was awesome as usual.

Capo’s is an Italian restaurant in Red River New Mexico. It’s right next to a ski lift and the Red River. We had a table that looked out to the ski run - green in August - and saw a deer grazing. Red River is a quaint Alpine resort village at altitude 8250.
The menu at Capo’s featured a good choice of standard Italian dishes. We shared a 13-inch veggie pizza, no cheese, and some garlic bread.
The garlic bread was okay but could have had more garlic. The pizza had a nice crispy crust on the thin side, and a nice light, fresh sauce perfect for summer. Veggies were mushrooms, black olives, grilled onions and colorful bits of sweet peppers. The 13-inch was eight slices and enough for me and my husband.
I should mention they also offer a gluten-free cauliflower pizza crust!
We didn’t order drinks or desserts, but the dessert selection was tiramisu, lava cake, lemon meringue pie and flan.
Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. A gal from Alabama with the accent to prove it.
While not spectacular, Capo’s is better than average, not too expensive considering it’s in a resort area, and family friendly. Our pizza and garlic bread came to $29 before tax and tip.

Interesting array of reviews…anywhere from 1 to 5 stars. For our experience, it was a vibrant atmosphere, friendly service, and a good pizza at a fair price….so for that alone we give it 5 stars. Looking at the menu the entrees do seem pricey. Would we go back? Sure.

It was nice they split our dinner for us.
We had their special with beef. Very good!

Service was on point and the food has huge portions! The kids spaghetti is the perfect size for an adult if you don't want leftovers. Service was so good, it got a little annoying. Everytime we took a couple sips of water, the server would be right there to fill it again. No kidding.

I really liked the pepperoni pizza, youngest got grilled chicken and fettuccine (i ate his side salad which was great), the teen ordered fried eggplant and zucchini, lastly hubby order fettuccine with grilled mushrooms and chicken. Very good and big portions.
