Visiting from Australia, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at this pretty pub. With the fireplace burning (adding to the ambience) we really enjoyed our evening. Ordered the Beef & Barley Soup & Steak & Ale Pie, Lamb Rack (cooked to perfection), all were very tasty and beautifully presented. 10/10 from us.

Food was good, but sat us right by a boiling hot radiator so we had to move into window seats which weren't very comfortable. I was served the smallest dessert I've ever seen!! I mean it was microscopic. Sadly the Pub has no atmosphere at all. Might be better if sat outside in the summer
