We've only ever had great food from Cairo Café, if you're not sure what to get you can trust the owner to set you down the right path. I'd definitely recommend the Livers though!

Food is nothing short of stunning. Such an amazing find this place. Its so good I go out of my way by 2 hours to eat here when near the area.
Couldn't recommend the beef/chicken shawarma wrap enough.

Went for the King Tut Ultimate Breakfast for an authentic Cairo street food experience and it did not disappoint! Really loved the food - great falafel and shakshuka. The staff were friendly and I felt like they really valued our custom and were excited for us to try their food. All for a ridiculously reasonable price - will definitely be back!

A lovely place to eat. Me and hubby had breakfast here. The King Tut breakfast was tasty, portion was generous! My mint tea was perfect. Hubby had a chicken panini, was delicious!
Clean environment, friendly staff, authentic decor and competitively priced.
I would recommend, and we will visit again.

Excellent local little cafe with amazing food, superb service and great selections. The staff are so friendly and hospitable, that you would come back just for them. They have a great selection of traditional British and Egyptian food too, ALL 100% HALAL, and their Egyptian dishes taste like you're eating in Cairo. Their prices are VERY reasonable too with some great offers thrown into the mix, you'll get more for your money. A great range of drinks that they make themselves and tasty halal British and Egyptian dishes, this is the best place in Reading and I'll be coming back for more.

Great menu choice, authentic Egyptian food, to eat in or take away. The staff here are welcoming and provide great service. I had the King Tutts breakfast (see photo) great flavours , good portion size and lovely to experience little bit of Cairo in the town centre of Reading!

Finaly can test the best Egyptian food in reading .amazin delicious koshari .vegan breakfast made by love .vegetarian ❤️ food 😋. and they have egyptian liver as well OMG.guys u need to try this experience.
