We really enjoyed dinner here. My wife and sister-in-law had a boil-in-bag with crab legs and I had the best lobster roll of my life. The clam chowder was delicious with a LOT of fresh clam meat and the fried corn was a fun appetizer. Very nice cocktails, as well. Server was nice, but could've been more knowledgeable.

The Shaking Crab is a fun place to get your hands or gloves dirty. Your provided a little trash bag for your scraps and a bib with plenty of napkins. I ordered the create your own bag and I had lobster tail, crawdads, and snow crab legs with corn on the cob and andouille sausage. I picked mild spice and medium heat. I went with a gang of friends and we each ordered a create your own bag. The seafood is fresh and delicious. The mild sauce was so delicious and flavourful. The decor was nice, the bathroom was clean and our waiter was fun.

Extremely disappointed! New England has some of the best seafood restaurants and access to fresh seafood and this was NOT it! The service was great and they did offer another item on the menu ,as I was unsatisfied. Very underwhelming experience.

My fiancé and I came here for our last night in New England, and we ordered the combo with the 2 lobsters. We also ordered clam chowder, a beer, and a watermelon margarita. The clam chowder was amazing, besides the small bit of sand that seemed to be in one of the pieces of clam. The lobster combo had a great flavor, but mine must have had not been cleaned or deveined, because I feel like I was either eating sand or lobster poop -- not exactly sure. Anyways, the service was great though, and we enjoyed the rest of our meal.

This place is amazing, the food, the staff, all of it. As someone who had never really been a seafood person, I was nervous but wanted to try something different. I ordered snow crab clusters and shrimp with potatoes and corn and the medium Cajun sauce. AMAZING, also tried the fried corn which was lovely as well. Very generous portions and the staff were so kind and thorough! I had never been to a seafood boil like this so the staff helped explain everything super well and helped make recommendations to place my order. All I have to say is I will 100% be coming back and I am now addicted to crab.

Ordered through Grub Hub, and the restaurant kinda botched my order.
I got a fried shrimp sandwich which was described on GH as having the tails of the shrimp already peeled off, and with Cajun Aioli. The shrimp still had the tails on so it was awkward to try to eat around them. Also the aioli came on the sandwich even though I asked for it on the side instead. My french fries came with a side of Cajun spice that I didn't ask for though, so I imagine they misread my order and thought I meant I wanted cajun on the side of the fries; I figured "Cajun *aioli* on the side" under Special Instructions for the sandwich was clear enough but I guess not. Lastly it came with this, um...stuff...frankly it looks like barf, and I think it's coleslaw but I'm too afraid to put it near my mouth to find out.
Overall the food was delicious, just not exactly what I asked for. If I ever choose to get food from here again I'll be more on top of the staff when it comes to making sure my food comes the way I expect it to.

Staff was friendly and overall good time. Some of our clams came closed and some of the crawfish did not taste fresh. Crab legs were wonderful. Sweet chili sauce you had to pay extra for was not flavorful.

I have not found a restaurant to excite my palate the way shaking crab did today in a long time. The food was truly divine. It was so good even though it was spicy my kids still ate it.
