Hands-down the best sushi in the Providence area. I’ve been here multiple times and my meal has always been worthy of five stars. The bubble tea is very good too, as is the Japanese market.

This place is not "God awful." It is part of Haruki East, its just more of a grab and go place, with the option to sit and enjoy the delicious sushi. Hence, "Haruki EXPRESS". The prices are fair, since they give you a good amount of sushi for the buck, compared to other places that don't give you nearly as much sushi for the same or higher dollar. Staff has always been friendly in all my experiences for the past two years. They'll even give you suggestions if you're not sure what to order. They appreciate "regulars" and warmly welcome new comers. I have yet to be disappointed in their delicious sushi. Oh and also the mini-mart offers different flavors of pocky and other asian goodies :)

Have to revise my very positive earlier review. Tonight we had a takeout order and the Negihama (our favorite) wasn't there when we opened the package at home, apparently replaced by salmon and cucumber. The Unakyu (eel) maki rolls recommended by our order taker had something inedible like bones in them, so we had to throw that out. All of the maki rolls were put together very loosely, fell apart when picked up by chopsticks. Very bad experience... maybe Sunday night is not the right time to go...

I have eaten and shopped here 10+ times now. Most of the food here is awful. Curry that is more of a tasteless paste, funky chicken, overcooked rice, butchered sushi meet, and as of last year, over-priced seaweed rice crackers, etc. make this a, place to avoid. Haruki Expense would be an appropriate name.

Doesn't compare with Haruki East. Service was fast but food was just ok. A ton of rice, little fish. Prices are higher than listed on their web site.

The Yellow Maki rolls taste sooooooooooo good. And yeah, they offer low sodium/low salt soy sauce which is CRUCIAL for me cuz I find the regular soy sauces in many restaurants wayyyyyyyyyyy too salty

My heart belongs to Haruki. The owner is down to earth and knows good food. I end up there damn near every time I go out to eat. Watch out for the HOT tea cup!

The Caterpillar roll is my favorite! Affordable local sushi that tastes awesome is one of my favorite things!
