We have our weekly chips from here and have had for years.....best if area by a country mile

An immaculate spot for the most scrumptious fish and chips. It’s the evening , I am running in and have tried their mussles in provencale sauce. What an amazing dish that is, i couldn’t leave anything else in my bowl, that how yummy it was! Service , was right on top , recommendations, communication and their atmosphere was just beautiful. Let this place keep prospering, what a beautiful restaraunt. I will definetly be back soon to bring my friends and Family over too

we entered the restaurant and it was empty so it was nice and quiet the staff are really nice we got and it was so delicious!!! and then we ordered dessert it was the sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream it was like heaven in my mouth it was amazing defo recommend this restaurant not many people go but the people who don’t go are missing out!!!

By far the best quality fish i have come across for miles around. The chips are crispy. And they do grilled fish of all kinds for those with an allergy

This place is a hidden gem. Great service & Probably the best fish & chips in Hertfordshire. I visit this restaurant regularly and always had great fish and chips . The cod is always chunky and flaky and the chips are perfect size and testy. I normally have my fish & chips in the restaurant rather than take away as I think it’s best to eat you fish & chips as soon as it is cooked. I would highly recommend it.

My first time and it won’t be my last . Due to not being able to drive and collect my fish & chips from my local I decided to do an Uber eat delivery from Harringtons. I’ve always gone on about ordering from there .
I have to say the fish was good quality cooked to perfection and chips well what a big portion the box was filled .
A little over priced but it was worth it.

Customer service good, quick service. Although coming in to the shop multiple times and having the price change on the same product you braught when it states on the board that it is this for example 6.50 is quite frustrating. They then start charging extra. Wouldnt be so much of a problem if I was being told what I was being charged for when it states on the board what the price is. Dont want to go in there anymore as It always seems to dearer.

I had a delicious piece of haddock, chips and salad for lunch. Service was lovely and friendly, atmosphere great. Will definitely make this my spot for fish.

If you are interested in eating freshly caught, quality fish then Harringtons is the place to go. They are a friendly, family run business whom serve up generous portions at decent prices. I always treat myself to the tempura prawns and they never fail to disapoint. If I could give them more than five stars I would do so without hesitation. Keep up the hard work guys definitely through these tough times.
