Greater Trumps

I visited the Backstage Bar, but it's right next to the Greater Trumps, so Google got confused. But the Backstage Bar is one of my favorite places on earth, it is such a beautiful place, even has incredible acoustics, makes me wish they held classical piano concerts in there. It's cool and dark in there, not overly busy, I like to watch sports games there. If there's a big, important game, they project it on a movie screen. I also like the beer, my favorite is the Hazy IPA, it's hoppy. Mcmenamins employees are usually too "cool" and "hip" to be very friendly, but it's not bad service otherwise. They have awesome salads, other items are hit and miss in my opinion, but again, not too bad. I think the wonderful atmosphere is the strength of Mcmenamins.

Love this place. Cozy space, great vibe, friendly staff, here at least once every couple weeks to enjoy cigars. Just please, for the love of God, stop playing the same Pink Floyd records on repeat. Last three times I've been here it's been Floyd, Hank Williams, Floyd, Hank Williams, and then back to Floyd. More music exists, it's out there, and it's a wonderful sonic world out there of you just take a moment to listen. Truffle fries are the bomb.
