Loved the vibe at this pub. Went a tad bit early on a Saturday evening , so the place wasn't full. They have a good selection of beers.
The place is pretty massive. They are pet friendly.
Would love to go back there on a live music night .

Visited yesterday for the first time whilst waking by with our dog. It looked nice, so we decided to pop in on the spur of the moment for a drink. We encountered a very friendly and helpful barman. Quick service and some water brought out for the dog. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We didn't eat on this occasion, but the menu looks appealing. We will definitely return.

Friendliest bar staff in the cross by a mile. They are just really welcoming and know what they're doing. The cocktails are delicious. Normally go for happy hour and nibbles but went for a roast recently and it was excellent. Outside space to people watch and lots of tables inside.
Update June 2023- Thanks for my free drink! Had a French Martini, it was perfect as usual.

1st visit as Dive Bar. Excellent food. Used Le Batteau, as it used to be, just about every Friday, lost interest when a rubbish menu was brought in.
Most definitely be returning with our friends, who also gave up the same time as we did. Looking forward to our next visit.
Definitely recommend to friends.
Very quiet, but, after all, we were getting away from Eurovision, smart move, 👍.
Excellent food and drink. Our friends were impressed by your beers, 1 being German, husband having spent a few years there, they really appreciated the choice.

On a gloomy day a warm and welcome atmosphere and a fantastic pork roast with all the trimmings. Everything you could want and nothing was too much trouble. They even had doggy roasts for your furry friends, Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic. Took my family. The food was excellent. We had the mussels, fillet steak and kids menu. The waiter/waitress service could not have been better, we were so impressed by a real 5 star service, with real “care” in customer care. The beer and wine selection was really varied with a good choice of everything. Happy place, good music, Will definitely return.

The best beer selection in Poole. Through German, Belgium to UK best beers. Lovely burger selection. Interior reminds me of old school, American rock pub. Definitely place to visit for all beer and burger lovers, like myself 😁👍

Le Bateau has changed ownership and has been re-branded The Dive. Super decor and layout, live music every Thursday at 8pm.
