Golden Chick

I have always loved Golden Chick. When my First husband was alive we use to Stop at that same Golden Chick all the time and bring chicken to my family in the Valley down south. They always asked us to bring more it was so good. As I was eating today I felt like My late husband Mark was sitting there right beside me and it felt really good.

Absolutely disgusted. Not the first but the second time. We ordered a big meal from this location get to the location to be told. They are done dropping chicken, they dont have the sides we ordered. Also manager wouldnt come to window until we asked the third time. We told her we ordered the food an HOUR before picking it up. There should be NO reason our order was not prepared and held aside for our pickup. Then said couldnt refund, had to get with another manager and maybe a couple days before i get my money. Managed to talk them into getting us something else and keep our money. But i am disgusted with that. Prepare the order once recieved or contact to let the customer know you dont have the food we wanted. My number was on the order. The girl at the window was pretty much the only nice and considerate person.

I made an order online on June 1, 2022 I also paid the $45.29 for them to call me about 20 minutes after placing the order stating that they could not make my order because they were closed. I made the order around 7:50 p.m. They called at approximately 8:15 p.m. When I asked about my refund they acted as if they didn't know how to do it. A so called manager then stated that she would have to call her manager and return the receipt to get the refund. She was extremely rude! It is now June 20th no refund. I called on the 15th of June and was told that it was submitted for the refund. If you order online do not pay online no telling how many other people this has happened to. I will be calling corporate and seeing why they are taking so long to refund my money. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good and helpful staff. Orders usually correct. Good food, but disappointed the catfish wasn't able to stay at this location. Edit 3 months later: Catfish is back, food is still good....but super sad to say they lost our business. Yet another chain that is allowing terrible service, raising prices, and sauce fees run customers off. In the matter of a few weeks my regular combo went up by $3, employees are claiming they have to charge for zing sauce (yet on the online ordering there's no charge) and just like many other chains are doing half full or less sides. Swearing off these chains and sticking to local!

I’ve always been a fan of Golden Chick, however this location has made me second guess that opinion. A friend of mine and I ordered two different meals. The only think she said had flavor of hers was a the mashed potatoes. For me, the Mac n cheese was mediocre but I can’t even finish the tenders. They have no flavor except just bad.
