First off I was really looking forward to getting some donuts from this shop. I grew up in Plainview and had had them before and they were always pretty good. Since I was visiting from out of town I decided to get some for my family. I was there around 8 am and was told that there were only chocolate and glazed donuts left. So I ordered three of each. When I opened the bag and felt the donuts, they were as hard as rocks. So I decided to try one and had to immediately spit it out. The donuts were very stale and had a strong yeast taste to them. I’m sorry but they really lost their quality. NOT FRESH AT ALL! What a disappointment. And I get it, sometimes they run out of donuts, but they shouldn’t be selling the left over stale ones to anyone.

They are open afternoon hours which helps to get a late donut. Donuts freshly made in little as 8 min. Very tasty pastries.

When you can get the donuts you ask for, they are good. When I've gone they are always out of cinnamon rolls or apple fritters. My son has gone and all they had was donut holes. We'll shop somewhere else where we can get what we want.

Love this little donut shop. A bunch of my college friend and I would pile up in our cars every Thursday and head down to the donut shop. The prices are great and the food is even better. Head on down and say hi to Ms. Kelly!

Big disappointment! I try many donut shops when I travel and this is by far the worst tasting donut and experience. I can eat a lot of donuts but after 1 bite, I was done. Sorry but Walmart has better donuts.

I've been coming here with ky grandad since i was a little kid (over 30 years). It used to be called Joe's Donuts. Joe is gone, but it's still a great shop, especially if you enjoy overhearing shop talk from farmers.
