Umberto's Of Plainview

Visited Umberto's Pizzaria for dinner while in town for an event. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful with the menu options. He brought out a basket of bread which included garlic knots that were delicious! He even offered to make a sangia which was not on the menu so I naturally accepted. I ordered the red sangria and it came in a large glass with lots of fresh fruit. Very nice! We ordered the buffalo cauliflower arrabiata which was very lightly breaded and coated in buffalo sauce. I ordered slice of pepperoni pizza on regular crust and my friend ordered a slice of pepperoni on grandma's crust. We both enjoyed our pizza and appetizer very much. The sauce reminds me of pizza that I tasted in Italy. We orded canelloni for dessert which was amazing! My friend also took home an order of spaghetti and meatballs and said it was the BOMB!!

This place did not disappoint! A friend from the area recommended it to us on our way to the pumpkin blaze and it was so yummy. I had a buffalo chicken slice and chicken Francese over spaghetti. It tasted flawless and the portion was on the large enough to save for the next day (and tasted just as good the second time). My mother had spaghetti and meatballs and my husband had the baked ziti. The bread was great and the garlic knots were some of the best I ever had. I brought the rest of them to work and the guys demolished them and asked where I had gotten them because they were so good. And that was day old. That’s how good this place is. I’m not a vegetarian but they have a really great menu for those who are.

We went with my 2 teens on March 27, 2023, around 7 o'clock PM. I don't know the name of the waiter. He was a real cool guy. Fast service he was very nice and helpful. The food is amazing, go for the garlic knots, the sicillian, the calamari is the best. They have sangria, which was great, too. It's a good family oriented spot. After all of it, if you could squeeze in a Canoli, it was fresh and yummy. we love this place. ❤️

I love this place! I went there last night for a quick meal on a Thursday night with family. Arman was our server and he was totally awesome! He was attentive and even recommended items on the menu. The Buffalo Chicken slice and vegetable Stromboli was delicious. I love the setting; I will be returning more frequently!
