I love it there, it is a great family restaurant. The service was warm, friendly, and fast! Food was very good. Would definitely recommend

This is the best diner. The food is always fresh, plentiful, and fairly priced. The staff genuinely seem kind and happy. Omelettes are always cooked to perfection. Wait staff doesn't rush you out and keep the coffee coming. Love the spinach and feta omelette. Also, I'm vegetarian now, but I used to love their corned beef hash (which clearly does not come out of a can) and eggs.

I was on vacation in the area and wanted to come back every day, the food is so good, the burgers are insanely good and the milkshakes are pretty big. The fried chicken is okay, maybe a little more seasoning but everything’s pretty worth it. I LOVE the curly fries, portion sizes are good and filling.

My family grew up on Long Island and moved out of state a few years ago. We were visiting family and the Plainview Diner was close to our hotel. Lots of options for breakfast. Our family decided on French toast, pancakes and an omelet. The food was average. We were most excited about the French toast, but it was our least favorite. The other items were as expected and OK. It was very expensive at about $20 per person. Waitress was very friendly and helpful.

This place has been here forever. The center of Plainview. Easy to see right off of Old Country Road. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Typical Diner fare. Good for breakfast. Nice staff. Credit cards accepted. We will most likely be going back.

Got the pastrami sandwich on a hero bun. Was really good, would definitely go back. Got the egg cream, was okay. Service was great, our waitress was very nice and friendly, food came out pretty quick.

Being from NJ I was impressed by this diner. Ordered the quesadilla pancake which was two hotcakes stuffed with egg, cheese, bacon, and sausage. This establishment sat the entire bridal party of 12 groomsman plus dads, uncles, and guests. Very accomodating to host us all.

Anytime I visit Long Island I find myself trying to find this diner... I came accross this place about three years ago and the food is always very tasty and the service is great.. Everyone always has a smile there. On the very first time I visited Plainview, I even got the chance to see Howard Stern walk out of this place. I understand his limo driver brings him there quite often.
So, if you get to visit Plainview Diner, you never know when you'll see Howard but be sure that your service will be great and the food will be delicious!

Classic diner experience with excellent service. The coffee tasted fresh and our cups were always topped up. My kids couldn’t stop looking at the display case filled with desserts and giant cookies. The Eggs Benedict was delicious!

Typical Long Island diner. Plenty of parking space, tremendous portions, bakery on the house. Counter to pay the bill, lunch-dinner-breakfast specials. Very friendly, but a bit messy service. Just good-solid place, with no reason to visit second time.

Great staff... Great food. I took the cast of Hamlet in without calling ahead and they totally hooked us up with a huge table where everyone could sit together. The waitresses were fun and soooo helpful. AWESOME!
