The Coffee Box

Jeff and his team at the Plainfield store provided coffee and pastries for our residents ar the Quin Apartments. Great coffee, service, and delish homemade pastries. These folks always try hard to please and be friendly whether I drop by myself for a caffeine fix or they cater one of our Coffee Grab-n-Go events. Love their coffee and their attitude!

Cosy spot. Nice atmosphere. Lovely people. My wife's espresso-based drink was awesome. We did not eat lunch here, but had a few desserts which were good. The only disappointing thing was... the seriously weak drip coffee (think: diner level weak). Maybe I had a bad batch? Will be back and adjust stars.

I've been meaning to stop by since The Coffee Box is right up the road from where I work. I'm a coffee nerd and love trying out different coffee houses as each one is different from the next. I opted for a pour over and an order of avocado toast. The coffee blend I chose was the Rwandan blend and it was made to perfection. I also ordered avocado toast and that took was very good. From the looks of it, they bake everything onsite which is nice to see. Now that I know that the quality of the coffee is what it is, I'll be going back.
