Such a great place with a feel good vibe. Food is spectacular and service is impeccable. My go to place several times a week. I wish to eat quality food and the good news Heyday Cafe only serves quality food.

Had a lovely late dinner at The Heyday Cafe. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. All the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had the roasted garlic bulbs, Caesar salad, and the truffle chicken pizza which was fantastic with a rich blend of gooey cheeses and tender chunks of free range chicken.

SUCH a good stop for a delicious salad. It was a hot, hot day and I was so soothed by this beautiful bunch of greens. The Heyday Salad is the perfect healthy comfort food. Service is stretched thin but very kind and doing their best for this bustling cafe!

Wow! We were driving up 50 to Tahoe and needed some nosh. Looked a a few reviews and decided on this spot. Super fresh ingredients, lots of vegetarian options. Salads, sandwiches and pizza. We tried all 3. Delicious!!! Wine flights were a surprise we didn’t expect. So nice to try the local El Dorado wines. Highly recommend the Madrona Reserve Dry Riesling and the Lobster bisque! The butternut squash pizza and the ginger bread lemon desert. Bonkers!!!

Wow. What a great little Main St. Cafe.
We had Lobster Bisque, pizza and a Hey Day salad. By the way. If you're into salads this place has great eclectic choices. Furthermore the entrees are even more quixotic. Duck. Exotic fruits. Imported meats. This place has a little something for everyone.
And the staff is wonderful. Very attentive. Even when there's a rush.

Excellent customer service! The sliders was the bomb plus that sauce they used was out of this world! The potato salad was a tad salty for my liking.

Cute little place in old town Placerville. Food was well prepared, but the chicken was a little dry. Service was excellent!

Safe place to stop with delicious food! Customer service set me at easy being a visitor just passing through to Tahoe. Would definitely recommend and definitely stop again.
