Micro Diner

This was a wonderful little diner. Let me emphasize on little. There are not that many tables but it is definitely worth the wait. There is a line out the door. But the crowd moves fast. Funny little meme pictures all over the establishment. The menu was very reasonable. Wonderful prices and absolutely delicious food. We sat at the breakfast bar so we got to watch the cooking action and Boy. He was able to slinging out those eggs really fast. It was really great watching a master at work. Very friendly and fast service. And I would definitely say the establishment was clean in a very cute side of town. Definitely recommend walking over and seeing some of the overlook of the city.

Traditional cafe in a great location. Excellent food (especially the bread). Free parking on Sunday. This was our final stop on a long weeekend in Pittsburgh. We ate breakfast and then walked 2 blocks to the top of Monongahela incline. The top of Duquesne incline was only a 2 mile rountrip walk from there along Grandview. We loved Pittsburgh and the friendly people of PA !!!

We were visiting the area with our 16 yr old daughter. The food was awesome! My husband had the cinnamon roll pancakes, I had scrambled eggs with veggies and cheddar cheese, our daughter had Nutella pancakes with a side of bacon. Our daughter laughed at a lot of the signs and had to take pics to share with friends. 5 stars

Literally the best food I have ever had every single time. It is consistent every single time. This is huge to me as I have gone to many places where this does not happen. The Belgian waffle is by far my FAVORITE I get the banana foster and the banana split !! Second favorite is the Mexican you can eat off the floor and I have never laughed so hard but when I go there, lol do yourself a favor and make it your choice for breakfast

Awesome breakfast! Had the waffle recommended to me by the daughter of the owner, it was a fantastic choice. Eggs tasted fresh, and the Italian sausage is incredible. Using all BreadWorks bread products, so even the toast was great. This location hasn’t been here long, but it definitely is your new go to spot for breakfast on Mount Washington. Only area for improvement would’ve been the temperature in the restaurant; there were a few others that mentioned it while I was there also. It was extremely cold- bundle up.
