Subway

Not sure if the owner was the one doing this or not, but this visit was extremely uncomfortable. Watching the way this old white dude spoke to his employees was so gross. I can just tell the way this dude acts he would be miserable to work for. I 1000% will not be returning to this franchise as long as I live in lakeview. Seems subway just gives our franchisees to whomever now a day. Even beyond that I ordered something that apparently “wasn’t available and the app shouldn’t have let me get it” even though they had most of the ingredients to make what I ordered via the app. I would also like to add that they would not let anyone use the bathroom at this location, which is just the owners laziness when it comes to cleaning it. Overall 1/10

The franchise owner (I believe his name is Adam) is so nice over the office & IRL; I had to thank him for his hospitality, even when it seems they’re short staffed, he’s attentive & customer first. As someone who worked retail for years, I know how hard it is to keep a smile on your face when you deal with rude customers all day. I commend him for his service & hope others take notice.

I haven’t enjoyed Subway in years. Stopped in this location one evening in a pinch. The gentleman that works in the evening is so kind, and puts care into making his sandwiches—I know this sounds funny. About a week later I visited another location and ordered the exact same sub and threw the entire thing out. Went back to this location tonight, he was there again! For under $7 with a drink and chips you can’t beat it. Thanks!
