Applebee's

Appetizer was served cold, but after we made it known to them, it was corrected. They made us a new one and it was good. Food that we ordered for our meal was really good, although they were out of the tomato basil soup I wanted. My husband really enjoyed his bourbon street chicken and shrimp. Waitress was nice and attentive. Overall, experience was good except for the mishap with our appetizer.

I wish there was a negative star. I travel the country for work, & been to allot of Applebee's. This is absolutely, without a doubt the worse I've ever been to. I prob will not go back to any Applebee's for a very long time, just because of this one. If somebody from a corporate office would like to talk, I'll accept the invitation. I have no desire to talk to anybody from this restaurant!!. Service was horrible, food taste like it sat in the back for awhile before it got served to us. Our drinks took 19 min to get to table. & it went downhill from there.

Spinach artichoke dip was great. Meal was alright but what stood out was the awesome service. All that was working was a manager (who had to split her time between customers and a vendor meeting) and 1 server. Service was still fairly quick considering and very polite. The place seemed clean too. Kudos to them for a good job under tough circumstances.

They only had one server on a Friday afternoon. I understand restaurants are short handed. But one server you may as well not open at all. They DO NOT honor their own Applebee's coupons. So if you get a bday email about a free dessert don't come to this Applebee's they will not honor it! I have worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years. Every place I worked honored the coupons. Chili's would comp the item if their was no way to honor the coupons. I won't go back to dine at that Applebee's near Carolina Place Mall. It will probably be shut down by the end of the year anyway.
