The staff was very friendly & Well mannered, helpful to their menu choices. THE HOT DOG ON FRECH BREAD, WITH CHILLI, ONIONS, HIT OF MUSTARD WAS AWESOME, ALONG WITH THE DRESSED ROAST BEEF PO BOY WAS STUFFED WITH MEAT AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. THE PRICES ARE FAIR & REASONABLE AND ORDER IS MADE TO WAIT, BUT WELL WORTH YOUR TIME. SEEMS LIKE THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS BEEN HERE A LONG TIME AND HAS A LUNCH TIME FOLLOWING, NEAR THE PEAK HOURS 11AM TO AFTER 1PM. THERE IS NO MORE DRIVE UP WINDOW , ONLY THE ORDER WALK UP WINDOW.There is a dinning area, but very crowded for lunch time, with tight parking--pickup trucks to cars, a vast and mixed working crowd stopping In for l U nch perhaps. Well worth your visit next time in Picayune Ms. ** 1 Note of fans to The Frosttop they do Not have the iconic tasty Frostop Rootbeer, however they have local South Barques Rootbeer which is 2nd best!!..The staff is, professional, super accommodateing and gives friendly service with a smile. MAKES YOU FEEL AT HOME IN THIS NICE TOWN.

Great old fashioned (in a good way) drive-in restaurant. Everything is made to order. The company was actually founded in1926, but didn't survive the onslaught of the fast food places. There are only a few locations surviving. But, they do sell the best darn Root Beer in the world, made the original way. Check out this location for very reasonably priced food. Even a grilled cheese sandwich for $1.00. One can leave this place full after spending less than $5.00.

I'm giving five stars for their roast beef po-boys.. Best in town. They use New Orleans style French bread, a generous serving of beef with a little tasty drippings. Best eaten right away so that the crispy bread doesn't get soggy. You can take out or eat in their family friendly, functional not fancy, dining room.. Orders are placed at a walk-up window. No credit cards. The po-boys are at least 10". The picture is a half.
