Due to a load cancelation we were stuck 5 days and honestly this place is MUCH better than it used to be. Two employees made our long stay actually memorable in a great way. First off was their security officer. It was obvious to us that this Flying J takes security as an important issue. The officer, Jon W. was friendly and very professional at all times. We noticed how he engaged with drivers when he walked the lot every night and took his job seriously. His uniform was sharp and we were pleased that this security company has armed personnel too. As providing a strong presence around a truck stop makes one sleep better at night. It was great to see such an engaging, active officer at a truck stop, something we don't see often. Rosanna was the cashier most of the time we went in (even Thanksgiving) and she always was professional and just made you feel welcome with a great sense of humor. Truck stops need more people like her, she and the officer are the main reason for the 4 stars! Secondly they do an incredible job of maintaining their reserve spots. We watched as they checked every truck for tickets. Be assured if you pay for a reserve, you will get your spot which is something more truck stops could do as its a major complaint across the nation that reserve spots are not honored but they are here. On the downside you will more than likely wait 1-3 hours for a shower during peak times. They have 15 here which they clean as fast as possible but the lounge was always full of drivers waiting. However the showers were very clean with good pressure and plenty of hot water. They still have major issues with overflowing trash cans in the back, but we saw staff working all the time emptying cans and cleaning the parking lot. They pressure washed the sidewalks and generally there was always a staff member cleaning outside. There is a general seediness and ominous feeling at this truck stop as it does have, we observed vagrants and criminal elements that are on the streets around, (not on) the property. We do recommend you be vigilant here as with any place, but overall our stay was a good one.

I stopped here to get some rest food and gas, staff was amazing, super friendly, I love Lupita, showers were awesome, very clean $18.00,. Stayed the night slept in my truck, next morning I realized I didn't have my wallet or cell phone, staff was very involved once I mention my phone tracking device was telling me my cell phone was in the property behind the trucks an a building, a homeless had my phone, but didn't get it back, now my wallet was found two days later and nothing missing from it so I was able to stay in the property over night, use showers and bathrooms as long as I wanted and noone bothered me or said anything negative to me, even security was friendly, not weak but friendly, them guys are not playing about their job but not rude to paying costumers, I will definitely come back and tell everyone I know This is a Must stop place.....Thank you all for the great service!

Stopped for gas and to dump the RV tanks. It's $10 to dump unless you have good Sam or flying j card then it's only$3. No water to use while dumping though. You can pump gas while you do your tanks and there was fresh good soapy water and squeegee for windows with full paper towels available and trash cans. Air is right here as well. Easy in and out. Store offers showers.

Did a 10 here This place gets full fast! Got here after paying for a spot on the app. All the spots were full so I called the store and they told me to hang tight. There is a security Gaurd 24/7 that will kick people out of reserved. DO NOT PARK IN RESERVED IF YOU DID NOT PAY!!!! Don’t wait till you get here to pay. Chances are someone’s already paid for the spot hours in advance bc this place fills up so fast. The staff are very helpful and friendly! 6pm there were 27 people in line for shower. 530am there were 14 in line for shower. Bathrooms needed a little attention. There are homeless people walking around. At 8pm someone came to truck asking for money. There is a Dennys. They also have a hot bar. They had several items out for dinner. At breakfast time there was only cheese pizza. There are lots of places to walk the dog. The parking lot looked very clean except one spot where a lazy truck driver decided to dump their trash 15 feet away from a trash can. Overall not a bad place. I would come here again!

Nice spot, clean, fresh food, bean to cup coffee, good parking if you're here before 4 p.m. their showers are big, hot water with nice water pressure, they have security riding around often, & friendly employees. One of the better Flying J's. I've read some of the reviews & don't know if they are under new management or why anyone would have any complaints.
