Smashburger

Great food. Great environment. Chef did an amazing job with my custom order. The only negative is the gentleman who took my order. I got to the register to place my order, he said "hold on" , then he walked to the soda fountain and drank some soda before coming back to complete the order. I thought that was a little rude, but I guess the good food made up for it.

I went here to get a quick bite and because it is in my parents' neighborhood. Very clean establishment and I was greeted the moment I walked into the restaurant. Ordered the (regular beef patty) spinach, cucumber, and goat cheese burger. Wow! What a burger! Simple ingredients but very flavorful. The balsamic dressing was a perfect condiment to the toppings. I also ordered fried pickles. This was a major gamble as every restaurant but I've been to that offers them has gotten it wrong for two reasons: 1. Fried too long. Sadly this is such a bad result as it makes the pickles too greasy and the pickle itself soggy. 2. Pickle chips used. Because pickle chips are rather thin, it doesn't take much to overcook them, and I've only had fried pickles in spear form at a cafe in Prescott. Thankfully Smash Burger got the pickles cooked to perfection. The right cook time, the thin but crispy breading. And the pickles were in chip form, and still held their crunch. No complaints from me at all. Solid food, great location. I'll be back!

We went here for lunch and the food was wonderful and the service was excellent. We were able to order and eat within 10 minutes. It was nice and clean inside of the restaurant. We didn't feel rushed and the brussel sprouts were amazing and crispy and not charred like other places I've had them at. We've been here before and they never fail to get us to come back again.

This is in a new food and spa plaza of Arcadia, which seems like it's been very successful at attracting traffic. It really pepped up this intersection. Smashburger is pretty much the only nearby burger place at a reasonable price, but is good enough quality when you just have to give in and have "fast food," meaning you're not left with that gross feeling of eating fast food. They are quick with orders and have a friendly staff. Their store is very clean and easy on the eyes, with nice lighting and decorating, so it's enjoyable to sit inside and have your meal.

The only good thing about the experience here was the girl on the register. Sandra maybe? Kind of overpriced. Dry, thin burger patties. $2.19 for skimpy, stale french fries. Food is fresh and enjoyable this time. I'll be back.
