We ordered 3 different plates as every one was amazing! Quinoa, Salmon and Eggplant parmesan balls, pesto pasta and four cheese fettuccine were excellent! The bartender Marcos was the shining star, he was attentive, had personality and kind. I would definitely go back again!

One of the best meals I have had in a long time! Pasta and bread is made fresh daily.

So this place is suffering from a bit of schizophrenia. The logo, decor and graphics suggest a casual, moderately priced hangout. The menu reveals choices for a more upscale palate — and wallet. It's just a bit confusing. The vibe may put off upscale diners, and the prices may shock passersby who drop in for the vibe. We had been wanting to try it for a while. It is in a less-travelled area of Biltmore Fashion Park. We stopped in on Sunday at around 2. We were the only customers at the time. We were treated very attentively by the hunky waiter and welcomed by the manager maybe? He was on his computer while we were there, so I assume. The service was great, but bordering on overbearing. They were trying so hard to make a good impression that it was uncomfortable, like we had to validate them instead of just enjoying our meal. Thankfully, other customers came in and the attention was spread around. We ordered two beers and Mozzarella Balls on happy hour. The balls were a good portion size and nicely seasoned. Then we got a ball of the day also on happy hour. It was chicken in a lemon sauce. The sauce was delicious as was the ball, if slightly dry. Finally, we split the pesto pasta with two rustica meatballs. The pasta was very nice. The pesto was flavorful, but not too overbearing. The meatballs were tasty. Again, maybe a little dry and too dense for my taste. I would do the rustica meatballs with marinara next time. The music was nice and unobtrusive. It was too hot for outdoor dining, but they have a nice space for it, and we want to try that when it is cooler.

This was my first time eating at Meat the Ball. And let me tell you I will definitely be going back there. The staff were courteous and efficient and the food was beyond excellent. We had the fig and prosciutto bruschetta as an appetizer and this was unbelievably delicious. I had the spicy sausage meatball entree and this was the best meatball I have ever had in my life. Served on a bed of the creamiest, tastiest polenta also that I have ever had. While the portions seemed a bit small for the price they were asking, I walked out of there fully satisfied. I would more than recommend anyone try this restaurant. I can't sing its praises enough.

Solid casual dining. Innovative approach to meatballs, with traditional and original entries including cauliflower with a curry sauce, eggplant, salmon and chicken. Four different and tasty pastas can be ordered with meatballs. There is a meatball sandwich, salads, appetizers and desserts that play homage to the meatball theme: chocolate mousse meatballs and donut balls with pistachio cream sauce for dipping. The wine list is very good. The patio and deck are great when the weather is nice. We have made it a regular haunt. Nice to have a big patio that isn’t facing a parking lot or noisy traffic.

Food was good and definitely a good stop when shopping at the Biltmore. Outdoor seating has great ambience. Went there for dinner on a Friday evening and there was live music that was good background but still allowed you to talk at the table. Wait staff is professional attentive and personable. Overall was a good dining experience.

LOVE this new spot!!! Sometimes at Italian spots you think the menu will be limited to just pasta and pizza, but this place truly has something for everyone. My favorite is the rústica, but i haven’t had anything i didn’t like. The patio is so unique - it makes me feel like I’m in New York. Add on one of the great craft cocktails or an Italian red and it’s like a mini little vacation!
