Barb's Bakery

This was our first visit to Barb's Bakery, but not our first time enjoying their baking delights. We had a great birthday cake creation a few months back that was scrumptious. We are now trying out their carrot cake that we were told was one of their specialities along with some of pastries. Hopefully, more hood things to come.

This review is long overdue! We placed an order for two birthday cakes for tiny humans we were celebrating over the Thanksgiving holiday. In the madness of just returning from vacation and getting ready to host family for Thanksgiving we completely forgot to go pick up the birthday cakes. It was the day before Thanksgiving, and we were at the grocery store with two full carts when we got the phone call. We only had 10 minutes before they were closing! It was completely our fault, but they really saved the day. They stayed and waited for us over an hour after their closing to make sure we could get our birthday cakes. And the cakes were pre-paid so they weren’t just waiting around to make sure they got compensated. They saved the birthday celebration and earned two forever customers. And the cakes? They were bomb! Exactly what we wanted and absolutely delicious. Thank you, Barb’s Bakery !

Called in asking if they had a carrot cake 10 minutes before they closed, the lady I spoke with on the phone was super accommodating and said if I could get there a couple minutes after closing that they would stay open so that I could get the cake for Easter. Customer service was great and the staff is very friendly! Cakes looks super tasty and was very affordable.
