Pomelo

The Orchard Tavern (Formerly Pomelo) is a great addition to the Phoenix food scene. Amazing atmosphere with great food. I highly recommend the Buttermilk Biscuits, Tavern Steak Frites, and Churro Waffle Ice Cream Sandwich. Highly recommend checking this place out. Sit on the patio if the weather is nice.

I’ve been a fan of Luci’s restaurants for a while, so I’ve been excited for the new Orchard Tavern to open. Went last night with high expectations, and it didn’t disappoint! Great ambiance, very much a tavern feel, with super comfy seating. The outdoor patio is beautiful. Started with some drinks, they have a nice variety including my favorite cider. The dynamite shrimp appetizer (wish I remembered to get a picture) was epic - I could eat 3 of those! Green chili cheeseburger hit the spot. The curly fries are awesome! Finished it all off with a combo of carrot cake and rum infused egg nog gelato. Tough call between the carrot cake and the cookie skillet, but fortunately there will be another chance. Can’t wait to go back and try the cheddar biscuit pot pie.

Perfect central location for our company Christmas event. Linda did an excellent job with the food suggestions and the chef did just as she said. The food was cooked just perfect. The staff was all very friendly and considerate the entire night. Julie and Cody took great care of us. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Superb all the way around. Service was top notch every step of the way, as was the food. My only critique would be: maybe they could find a better dipping sauce for the calamari. Like an aioli. But otherwise really amazing place to eat. I can definitely see why it's so popular. A plus was being able to peak into the beautiful kitchen they have here, every time someone came out of the doors. Everything looked spotless, new, everyone is dressed really nicely, it just looked like an amazing kitchen and people seemed to be working together well in there. Very nice to see. Everything in this restaurant, including the restrooms and bar, were spotlessly clean, despite it being a busy night. We'll be back.
