Woodsman

If you like lots of options when eating out, the Woodsman seems to have a bit of everything. Thai and American fair means an option for everyone. With en eclectic diner like style, the atmosphere left us a little confused. The staff are super friendly, attentive and not overly burdensome. The thai food was good, but not as good as we have had. The peanut sauce was too much and the duck was dry. The ginger sauce with the duck was quite good and over all we enjoyed the food and had a nice time. For the price, definitely worth a visit.

I've moved back to Portland but still miss their Thai food regularly! They're the only Thai restaurant that actually makes their curries extra spicy when I ask for extra spicy. Before I lived down the road from them, i'd drive over here from Corvallis just to get their take out! Love this little restaurant.

Ya know, I probably should have taken a picture of the beautiful food and appetizers... But my stomach didn't even let me think about it.! I've eaten at many Thai restaurants, but this little gem is truly my favorite.! It's hidden at the end of a tiny little podunk town, concealed by the facade of a good ol' boy, honkeytonk bar and grill.! (I still live in a smaller town, about 20 miles away, and this is the closest restaurant, other than Debs Cafe.) Now that being said, the food here is absolutely spectacular.! You want Thai.? You're gonna get freshly cooked, hot and steaming, delicious Thai.! For some reason, unknown to man, you want a burger and fries.? Hey man, they got you.! They usually have some pretty good beers on tap, and a decent variety of bottled and canned beers, both foreign and domestic. My wife has ordered a few cocktails there and was not disappointed either. She prefers the thai tea. Check this place out, you will not regret your decision.!
