Notice. Tea shop is closing end of April 2020, so hurry and fill your bags...Fresh aromatic tea. This little tea shop has been around forever; maybe the oldest tea shop in Philly? and has thoroughly become my go-to for fresh delicious loose tea. Lots of amazing blends and standards. Best of for many standards. Chamomile, Earl Gray to name a few. My new favorite is the Earl Gray Violets. Yum

I have shopped at House of Tea for about 15 years. The owner (Jessica) is one of the most honorable people I have ever met. Her prices are terrific, the shop is wonderful, and the teas are the finest you can acquire on planet earth. If you're near Philadelphia, you should visit the shop; if you're not, no other tea store can compare.

I have been buying tea at House of Tea from its opening. I love a rich black tea and was introduced to Rose Congu - a black tea with just a little rose leaves. Beautiful bouquet with incredible color. Jessica and her staff are the best - they know their tea and more important they know their customers. If you are looking for a great ice tea try Micki's Blend - black tea and jasmine - such a thirst quencher.
