Wow Wow WOW! I am completely blown away by our trip to Ardiente! I am already in love with down town Old City vibe and so happy we had the chance to stop in and dine! From the moment you open the door its like walking in to an intimate world! From the chandeliers to the cork sound sweeping walls you really feel that you can dine knowing you'll enjoy your time. The drinks are OUTSTANDING! I am currently almost 8 months pregnant, and to see a bar offer Mocktails really blew me out of the water. They are so accommodating to every guest and palette type! You get a complimentary starter which was so tasty while you wait for your appetizer's. My fiancé and I even had the pleasure of meeting the Executive Chef and his genius mind! From every detail of the restaurant you can see it took time and planning to lay out the perfect atmosphere. From the street you can see how intimate and inviting it is! The food is outstanding! We had the edamame, peppers, empanadas, and pork belly "tacos" and the flavors were out of this world. You HAVE to go and get the ribs. It is an absolute MUST! The meat just falls right off the bone. I truly can not wait to go back! If you have the time, make sure you check out the lounge downstairs! It is like walking on clouds! You even get to walk next to the original structures of the city that have been there since 1701. Take in all of the statues and details, because the more I looked around, the more details I noticed! The burlesque atmosphere really made for a fun and intimate night for my prego self! I can not wait to return and try more of their amazing dishes! Go for the ambiance, stay for the house made cocktails and indulge in the cuisine. You will NOT be disappointed!

I decided to stop in here one Sunday afternoon trying to get away from the St Patrick's day parade crowds. This is a very upscale and very well appointed location, and a great location for brunch or perhaps even an evening cocktail. This Asian Latino fusion restaurant has a very interesting menu. Wanting something with coffee, I decided to go with the Cafe Sazerac $12 and I wasn't disappointed. The flamed orange oil added a certain class to the drink. For my brunch meal, I opted (as I usually always do for any brunch) for the Ardiente Benny $20 - aka eggs Bennedict over Hoisin pork belly and it did not disappoint. Service was on point and excellent.

Ok soooo I found a new spot and I just had to share. It is an Asian Latin fusion.
