Beards Brewery

Friendly, competent staff provided fast, accurate service. Our kids 2 & 4 devoured the Mac n cheese. We adults devoured our burger (smokey, mildly spicy, and moist without being too juicy), poutine (mouthwatering gravy over skin on potatoes with good texture), and walleye tacos (that didn't taste frozen). Oatmeal stout beer was delicious and not sour. Clean restrooms with a changing station. Classic wooden highchairs. Complementary crayons and a shared coloring book (paw patrol on this visit) A little pricey, but quantity and quality were worth the cost. The view was priceless.

Great atmosphere. Service was friendly and kind and genuine. Kathryn was great. She was immediately likable and personable. We will tell our friends to never miss this place when they are in town. And Grant at the front door was great company while we waited for our table. Btw, the food and beer were excellent!

Beards is a pretty good brewery with decent food. The interior has huge windows with a view of the bay. They have a patio for drinks and dining. Sometimes they have live music. I think pizza is their best dish. The Chicken and Wild Rice was good but the sauce was really salty. The Duck Confit Pizza was awesome. I like their lighter beers best.

I highly recommend Beards Brewery! I had the Walleye Tacos, which are on their lighter menu. I wanted a dinner, so I just got two orders. They were recommended by bartender Lauren, who was amazing! I also had the Green Hundo, which is a delicious IPA, and my favorite over a week long trip. The food, the beer, the view, and the service were absolutely amazing. I'll be back soon!

Beautiful view of the water while eating. They have gluten free pizza and are generous with the cheese, it was good. Reason for 4 is bc our server seemed new/overwhelmed. He took our drink order, but I think he forgot about us bc it took 10-15 mins to get it, we could visibly see him running around helping other tables/brining out food. And then my pizza came out 10 mins faster bc there "was a mess up in the kitchen" and I received red sauce and my bf received white sauce on the pizza when we ordered it the other way around. They weren't even that busy, half the tables were empty. Overall, it was a good restaurant with an amazing view, but not the best first impression.

Nice! Atmosphere is great -Upscale pub. Great view of lake. I had the pulled pork sandwich. Big surprise. Incredible recipe. A little spicy. (Good). Other ingredients for a unique Asian-spice flavor. I love restaurants that go to the effort to serve unique recipes. Beards does that well. Many beer choices. But all house varieties. Their IPA is good. I’ll definitely be back.

An amazing restaurant with fantastic food, a fun atmosphere, and friendly wait staff. We each ordered a beverage and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I got a cider and it was the perfect amount of refreshing and crisp but not too sweet. The truffle fries were a great starter dish to share with the table while we waited for the rest of the food (but we didn't have to wait long). I split the wild mushroom pizza with my husband and we both enjoyed it. Combined with the truffle fries, it was the perfect amount of food for two hungry people. Although they do not have a parking lot, there was plenty of easily accessible street parking.
