I have been here multiple times and here are my experiences:
Takeaway - loved the chips here, but the charcoal chicken suffered from uneven cooking, and I also found the lemon and herb sauce to be a bit too sweet for my liking.
Dine-in - ordered some seafood dishes and were amazed by the flavours and the generous serving sizes, the highlight was the cod fish served with a tomato sauce topped with oven baked chips
Overall, I enjoyed the food here and shall return to sample more dishes from the menu.

Our go to family restaurant. We have been so many times we know the staff. Always request the circle chips as a substitute. It costs an extra $2.50 but totally worth it!

Been visiting this restaurant for years but today was totally shocked at how backward the quality of food has gone
Whole chicken and pork belly came out luke warm probably in the vicinity of too dangerous to serve that cold… one serving of potatoes were the frozen type cooked properly the ones served with the pork belly were hand cut chips that came out as uncooked potato even the waiter was surprised… oh since I’m at it have a look at the rotten tomato they served in the salad… go down the road heaps better

Silvas ticks all the boxes: tasty and interesting food, excellent and speedy service, and a nice setting.
We had a variety of types of meat and all tasted quite different. The restaurant was very full but it wasn’t too loud. Book ahead if you have a group.

Food was delicious. Traditional Portuguese cuisine and a nice comfy environment. We were lucky enough to find parking a short distance away and the dine in menu gives you a much larger selection then takeaway. Will definitely be back again.

I had lunch here today with my mother and we loved it. It reminded us of typical family restaurants in Lisbon, laid back and authentic. Very nice salted cod in tomato and capsicum sauce with thin cut potatoes and beautiful steak Diane with chips. Full of Portuguese customers which is a good sign!

The seasoning of the meat was great! I think that because there are other Portuguese shops nearby, it makes one compare. But if you want somewhere to sit down with actually good table service I recommend here! The portions are huge and there are a lot of choice in terms of meals. I also think the meat is cooked well and they use great seasoning!

The food was not only amazing but the Portuguese culture made the whole experience better. I would recommend sumol (a portuguese drink ). Overall a really good experience highly recommend.
