Disappointed is all I can say. Ordered the food takeaway and if the store wasn't shut by the time I'd got home and eaten it I would've taken it back and asked for a refund. I understand I ordered my food late but still it should be a at least up to a certain standard.. The food was dry and mushy from being overcooked. The fried chicken and spring rolls were even well overcooked and were perhaps sitting on the warmer the entire day/night. Customer service was great but it was a shame throwing it all in the bin because it just wasn't enjoyable/fit to eat at all.

I just needed some place to eat that was quite and I wouldn't feel weird eating alone, this place fit the bill. My rice and ginger beef was nice, the waitress was nice. It was satisfactory.

This would have to be the worst Hans i have eaten in. I had the Hans Larksa, the chicken was dry, the squid was rubber with a funny off taste and the sauce was tasteless. The Restaurant was filthy and needs a Health inspector to check it out because if the sitting area is that dirty what is the kitchen like. Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else as i am paying for it now with repeat trips to the toilet and stomach pains.

This is the worst dining experience I have had in Perth. We should have realised the place was off because it was almost empty on a busy Friday night. I thought since they were not busy we would get served quickly.
There was no service. We entered and were given picture book menus and told to choose a table. After about 10 minutes and not being acknowledge I went to the counter to ask if we had to place our order at the counter or wait at the table. It will be quicker if you order here was the reply. So we all had to get up from the table and order at the counter. I then had to pay upfront plus 2% for credit card payment.
We ordered entrees and when one of our main courses came out first the waitress could not understand English when I protested that we had not had our entrees!
I was served to worst bottled wine almost ever. I can only remember one that was worse. The two teenagers with me ordered mocktails that were rather average for the $7.50 price.
We hadn't finished our entree when the main course appeared. Do you want plates to eat that from?
There was huge difference from the photos of what we ordered from the picture book menu to what we were served. To say it resembled "a dogs breakfast" would be complimentary.
The man with the personality bypass who seemed to be in charge saw that I was comparing the pictures in the menu to what we had been served and asked if we were missing something........
Don't go there and if nothing else is open you will get a better meal chewing your fingernails!

We went here for lunch today, after visiting other Hans Cafe we have always had a good experience.... not at this one though. We arrive at 12pm and our spring rolls came out about 15 min later, the spring rolls were tasty. Then we waited another 30minutes for our mains, when they still hadn't arrived we asked if they could please be put in a take away container as we had to leave by 1pm and it was 12:50! (The restaurant was empty) We finally got our take away containers one with Pad Thai and the other with Beef Pho. We figured we had a few minutes to spare and started eating, it was TERRIBLE, the food tasted off and like it had just been reheated in the microwave. The beef pho has floating bits of sausage?? Not sure that is meant to be in a pho. Anyways we took one bite and decided not to risk eating this food and demanded a refund. We will not be going back to Hans Cafe after this experience.

My family seems to like this place more than the normal European. Lol. I don't get it. It's okay but it's not the holy grail. <br/>For a speedy tasty meal Hans delivers

Had the special fried rice.. why is there so much MSG? You don't need so much MSG (or any at all) to make a nice fried rice! The pepper squid was excellent but c'mon! You can't get fried rice so wrong!

It's no Wangs but then that's hard to beat. For convenience and speed of service Han's do well. The food was tasty and served all together. We had the beef curry and chicken with piles of cashews. I wouldn't order the entree again. They have a childrens menu that includes an Asian dish. Not a bad meal or experience for the price although I suspect a fair bit of MSG - we've consumed a lot of water since eating!

I'm heavily pregnant with gestational diabetes hunting for no carb food one evening. I ordered a takeaway vegetable omelette and I never knew it can come in "soup", and the veg inside doesn't seems to be fresh at all. The brocolli looks rotten. I have no idea how a food outlet can have such disrespect to its customer. Very sad to see this. <br/>My colleague had a Japanese chicken rice and the breast meat comes in all kinna shapes, no idea how the cutting was done.

Worst take away experience ever! Ordered spring rolls, satay chicken, Thai curry chicken and garlic beef for dinner on a Wednesday night. The spring roll was ok, satay chicken was so dry like rubber that we couldn't eat at all. The other 2 main dishes came in the smallest take away container but still half empty, and that's not the worst part, the garlic beef came with only a thin layer of beef on top, the rest was all lettuce on the on the bottom. Never again!!!!!

We popped in because we wanted cheap asian food. The serving sizes were large and neither of us was able to finish them, so they were good value. But the quality was pretty average.<br/><br/>Hannah: I had the Steamed Chicken Rice. I've had this meal before at another Han's Cafe, but it wasn't served the same way. The chicken came on a bed of asian slaw which I don't think I've ever seen this dish served with before. The slaw dressing as well as the sauce provided made the meal a little bit too rich considering I chose this meal because I thought it would have a fairly clean palate. The clear soup that accompanied it was flavoursome and warming. I enjoyed it a lot.<br/><br/>Dale: I had the BBQ duck noodle soup, the broth tasted quite average, and a small amount of the noodles weren't cooked properly. The duck was quite chewy and dry which made it difficult to eat and unpleasant. Noodle soups are my favourite meals to order from asian restaurants but I wasn't able to finish even half of this meal.<br/><br/>I also ordered a Cookies and Cream frappe which was disappointing as the flavour was weak. I couldn't finish this either.

Terrible...just terrible. My Partner and his friend went here today. Ordered Singapore noodles and other dishes. Was told that the Hans Cafe staff mixed their order up 3 times!<br/><br/>My Partner dropped off lunch for me. I had:<br/>CHICKEN WINGS - Average. A little undercooked. The sauce they provided was just sweet chilli sauce you can buy in an asian market. Not original.<br/>SPECIAL FRIED RICE - below below below average. Seriously, terrible. The rice was dry - like it was undercooked or was left in the fridge for too long before they used it to cook the fried rice. It was basically tasteless - except for the burnt taste! I love fried rices, but this is just terrible. The chicken, prawns and other meat was tasteless as well. After a couple of spoon fulls, I closed the container and ready to give it to my dogs (I even feel bad feeling it to them!).<br/><br/>Do yourself a favour, skip Hans cafe Northbridge --- Actually, skip Hans Cafes in general. Use your precious money somewhere that deserve it.

Terrible. We ordered takeaway last night and it was an awful experience. We had a couple of questions about some of the dishes and the answers we got were useless, for example one item was called 'golden prawns' so we asked how they were served and if they came with anything, to which the waitress just replied 'yeah prawns'. So after negotiating the badly described dishes on the menu (all of which are unnecessarily preceded by the name Han's) we orderd one mixed entree and two spicy beef salads. I noticed at payment that we had been charged a couple of dollars more than the cost of the food so I double checked the order with the waitress who said 'yes'. I then noticed a sign indicating a credit card payment surcharge so thought everything was on track. Anyway, the food came out in a tightly knotted bag and as the waitress handed it to us it sounded like she said something about beef satay. Once again we had to double check the order 'we ordered beef salads, are there two beef salads in the bag?' 'Yes'. We were really stupid at that point and just left without physically checking our order, we got home to find we had mixed entree, a few chunks of beef and loads of satay sauce. It had been a long walk home, it was late and we didn't see what could really be done to rectify the situation without walking all the way back down so we just made do. The beef satay was actually quite nice, unlike the mixed entree. The prawn crackers were chewy and there was some strange stodgy stuff in batter. All in all a very disappointing experience...we did however, learn the importance of ALWAYS checking your takeaway order before you leave the shop.

NO GOOD. Just went to Hans noodle and rice in William street and this is the worst asian food me and my girl ever had . Give this place a miss. and head down to Lido. Spring rolls only have onion inside, rice was bland and meat dish smelt off. Did complain to the chef just dismissed his opinion all was good. The place is normally empty I know why, just busy tonight as we viewed the GIANTS.

Tasted the best pad Thai tonight top it off with great service and a wonderful and relaxing environment! Defiantly coming back!

No .. The food did not taste as good as other Hans restaurants, some of the food was seriously burnt, we asked for another plate to share a dish and it turned up dripping wet, the service was not good, the atmosphere was tacky and dry.<br/>It's unsurprising that it is almost always empty.

Food is amazing! especially char kuey teow! i would 100% recommend this dish to who miss the taste of home.

Hans cafe northbridge has one the best stirfry noodles in perth<br/>Special requests is always dealt with carefully and precise<br/>And the staffs are really friendly and has professionalism written all over<br/>Definitely recommend this restaurant<br/>Gonna come back guys :)

Hans Cafe unfortunately use Fish Sauce in all of their Vegetarian and Vegan Friendly meals. I also asked what the Tofu was fried/ steamed in and they said it was fried on the same grill as the beef and in the same pots as the oysters. Kudos for being honest though.

Can't remember the English name of the dish I ordered but it was seafood and chicken rice noodle and vegetable dish. Tasted delicious. Decent size. Quick service and was a cheap eat @ $10.95. Only seemed to be one employee there though.

Old & wrinkly cut chillies...yuk!. I have had lunch with my gf during our lunch break, we ordered "me goring" and cut fresh chilli to go with it. It was very oily and the cut chilli came when we asked for it twice, and we almost had finish our meal..the cut chilli looked very dry and it seemed it has been cut for more than a week and had been used before (recycled). we asked for a new fresh cut chillie but still looked the same..after 2 weeks, went back there again, we couldn't make up our mind where to sit coz all the tables and chairs were filthy. we ordered main & fresh cut chiilies, we laf as we were given old, wrinkly cut chillies and we thought, they have given us the same cut chillies from last time. If I have read the reviews b4 we went there..we would not go in. It's not worth stepping inside..if it's filthy outside the dining area..i wonder wat it is like inside the kitchen..need to improve the cleanliness side and practice food hygiene.

Do not waste your time or money. We regularly go to Han's in Mandurah and naively thought all Han's would be to the same standard. We should have checked first. It was empty. The table next to us was dirty and needed to be wiped. Our cutlery didn't feel clean. The menu was sticky. We ordered beer which arrived in bottles and we had to ask for glasses. My husbands curry and rice arrived on one plate but mine turned up in a cereal bowl with a big blob of rice on a plate separately. The cauliflower in the curry looked brown on the stem as if it had been standing for days. The toilets were dirty and the toilet door stuck, I thought I wouldn't be able to get out. The fridges looked old and grubby and there was an old cap left on a table. The whole restaurant is in need of refurbishment. The food was non descript. The only good thing that came out of the visit .... I had planned an evening with a large group of friends and was going to book without visiting first. Thank goodness I found out before. I learnt a valuable lesson to check everything first and don't assume.

Don't bother. Half the food we ordered was unavailable, half the beers on the menu weren't in stock. The service was poor. The food we got was lame. Go to a food court and save money. Very poor restaurant

Ok so after reading all the reviews I was pretty hesitant to come here till my friend booked us in. There's BYO - $1.80 corkage, service is mediocre to ok. We had to ask for quite a lot of things, like for water, for our order etc The food wasn't actually too bad, quite bland but serving sizes looked good. Presentation was ok. Will consider going back if service improves!

Ordered pork chop rice and BBQ pork rice which are cold, found the pork chop rice is not complete set as it doesn't have minced meat egg which it should have, it is in the menu. When complained to waiter, he said it is normal as it is a mere egg, I argued that I gonna pay full price for incomplete set is unfair, and said are you gonna pay a set meal price for macca without coke or burger. He was silenced and replaced me an egg instead of minced meat egg.

Don't bother coming here. Just walk another 500m up the road past Newcastle St & go to S&T Thai Gourmet Cafe. It's great stuff!

Not worth it.. Food was awful. The place needs a decent clean too, the floors and windows were covered in grime. Truly an uninviting place to go eat. Stay Away.

Bad foodcourt food at resturant prices. Walked in and had to ask for glasses and water.waitresess too busy talking bout who got laid on the weekend too offer any service,entree was rubber fishcake and worlds crappiest spring rolls,main was bony duck and chilli pork....HORRIBLE PLACE.....no wonder it was empty
