Etro

Recently went here for breakkie (their breakfasts are always good) and had the maple fried chicken waffle ....was amazing. Good food....decent location....staff okay but its just breakkie. Has work functions there previously and staff were very professional....allows the whole or part of the top floor to be reserved which is a good space.

First of all let me start by stating the food was nice but the Spanish potatoes came out with hollandaise sauce which it did not state on the menu. Also they are under staffed and everything feels rushed you have to go up and order which is no big deal just don't say you'll come over if it's clearly not that type of establishment. The lack of staff is why we didn't bother saying anything about the hollandaise. Also they where out of green juice that is on their menu so I ordered what was meant to be a fresh orange juice which tasted rather watered down. Wouldn't return again even though the food was tasty.

As A Chef That only gets a small amount of time of freedom before I have to head back to working in a kitchen elsewhere, I found the food was great and I am the sort of person that will say it how it is and if the food was crap then I would say so. The chefs at Etro need to give themselves a pat on the back, The Kitchen was clean The food had all the trade marks of greatness. The only bad point was the service just need to be worked on.
